Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I've also had mine in for 3-4 years. I've never taken it out or replaced any springs. For me, the best thing about it is getting rid of that spring noise. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks, I'll pass the information along to him. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  3. I have a buddy that stationed at Moody in Georgia that is trying to get some info on places that might be close to him to go shoot monthly 3 gun or USPSA. Does anyone have any info that I can pass on to him? Any help is appreciated. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. Odin does have a 16.3 in rifle gas barrel in DMR profile. I've got a 3 gun 18in rifle gas barrel of theirs and it shoots lights out. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their barrels. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  5. Another option I use for coupled mags is the MBX base pads. I have a 30 and 40 that I can couple together and add the wings to mono pod off of. I like that system as I can change out and the mags don't have to stay coupled together. I also added some grip tape to the bottom to add some grip. But every thing Tony said is spot on. I'd pick up a wide assortment of mags and configurations. May seem silly to some, but you never know what you may need. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  6. I have the SM1 reticle in my Kahles and I love it. I wouldn't change my setup. Kahles is the military lineup for Swarovski, so I would like to think their a little tougher. I've had mine for over a year with no issues. With the SM1 reticle, sight it in at 150 and the sub extensions line up pretty nicely. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  7. I got told last year that they could DQ me for having shotgun ammo in the side pouch of my bag that carried my long guns, regardless if I touched said ammo or not. We also had them try to DQ a guy for reaching over the rope around the safety table from the side to hold a part for a guy that was putting his gun back together. I'm all for safety, but I'm glad USPSA Multigun is gone from the west coast. Their rules for Multigun are cumbersome and some are silly like the 3 ft rule. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  8. I feel like you are trolling pretty hard here. 1st of all, this match wasn't even in California, it was in Vegas. And Nevada has no restrictions on high capacity magazines. My 2nd response is that the east coast should never have another 3 gun match ever if we are basing it off high capacity magazine restrictions. New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut and Washington D.C. all have high capacity magazine restrictions compared to California, Colorado and I'll even include Hawaii for the west coast. I think maybe next time you should do a little homework before you make a comment like that. And I'd also like to point out that Tac Ops had more competitors in that division alone last year than total number of competitors that completed the match this year. So maybe those on the west coast love our guns and 3 gun more than you think. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  9. Craig Outzen has said the Tooth and Nail will work, but they don't drop free with the bolt back from what I gathered off Facebook. Some one said you can remove the tab that holds the bolt back in empty and they will drop free. This is all second hand info so take it with a grain of salt. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. Can you add me to the 3/20 list please. Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. They did that themselves by turning it into a bay match. I shot that match and was less than enthused. I think there was 2 targets over 200 yards. They tried to come back out to Oregon after not having a true western regional on the board, but it was short notice and during hunting season. 3GN shot themselves in the foot as far as out west is concerned. And I do travel fair amount to shoot as well. It's nice to get out and get a change of pace from time to time. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. According to a comment on the Facebook post from USPSA, I think UML did play a part on it. It sucks to lose a match, but I'm sure it'll get replaced by a UML match. No one wants to take on an area match here due to the USPSA rules. They are supposedly very strict on targets to be used, and they require flasher targets after a certain range. My experience at this years match was less than stellar to be honest. Not with the match itself, but with some of the RO's and their attitude. Maybe a change of venue is good. Who knows. I just know I won't be there. Ft. Benning will get my money for next years travel match. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. This year it was 350$ I think or around there. No more than 400$. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. They do not have USPSA area Multigun matches out west that I'm aware of. Definitely not in Area 1, which is my area. Pete took on the USPSA Multigun Nationals when nobody else wanted it and built it to what it is today. Honestly though, USPSA has treated 3 gun poorly and as an afterthought. 15. The replies are negative due to the fact that another major match is gone from the west coast. Like every single pistol national and IPSC national being there wasn't already enough. USPSA doesn't have any other 3 gun match on the west coast. Feels exactly like what 3 gun nation did and I'm no longer a member of their organization due to that. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
