Toolguy
That's a good start on the basics. There is a lot you can do with that amount of tooling. May I suggest a double ended edge finder? Perhaps a 1/2" one with a point on one end and a .200 cylinder on the other end. A good quality one is $12 to $15. Kind of exciting isn't it? StraightUp_OG
OK party people. I never thought that I would see a Glock in this thread but now it's me brining one to it. I picked up this Gen 4 19 as a cheap car/EDC/beater that I could just throw in the car or backpack or whatever but it is impossible for me to leave well enough alone. So I got the ZEV/GW duty trigger ultimate kit & storm lake barrel already in the gun. Stupid simple and drop in. But that just did not scratch the itch so arriving tomorrow is a Trijicon RMR RM 07 to go on top. I will be milling it into the slide this weekend so more pics to follow. Not much info out there but I should be GTG with what I found. BEFORE:

StraightUp_OG
It is still in the works. I got the slide welded up from my over zealousness but put it on the back burner while I goofed with other stuff and more shooting time. It will make its way back to the mill next as it really needs to be completed.

Vanniek71
With the barrel ported like that is the comp still effective?
donnyglock
Of course.
Vanniek71
Of course. Never know since the purpose of the comp is to redirect the gas.....
donnyglock
That comp doe not have the big ports going up. Its designed around barrel ports.
MikeRush
If you were dealing with a fixed amount of gas it might, but if you feed the beast more powder and gas... Of course.Never know since the purpose of the comp is to redirect the gas.....
