KentG
Been thinking of changing my CTR to an Ace ARFX. Just found out about the soon to be released magpul fixed MOE. Has anyone here seen one yet? Specs say 13.25" LOP which is good and the design looks good for cheek weld. I may hold off untill these hit the street. bunsen27
http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG404/181 Looks nice, but a bit pricey at $70 IMO.

jaredr
full of magpul-y industrial design goodness but from a gaming perspective not sure how it improves over an A2? yes, it's got a storage compartment but i've also got pockets, a backpack, glovebox in my car, and I usually bring my kid out to the range to haul around my crap
KentG
I was just asking if anyone had tried or seen one yet vs a snap decision. From the pics I have seen it looks wider allowing for possibly a better cheek weld.

Its still a concept design, I believe they're only a hand full actually made atm BTW they're pretty ugly Edited February 10, 2012 by DocMedic
Mark Gale
I'm really diggin' it. I'd like to know what it weighs. The beauty of the Ace is its weight, or lack thereof.
DocMedic
If your looking for Light and great looking I would go with a Vltor Clubfoot stock
Lead-Head
Saw one on a rifle at SHOT. Held it. liked it. I may have to get one. Edited February 11, 2012 by Lead-Head
diversmith
If your looking for Light and great looking I would go with a Vltor Clubfoot stock Speaking of an ugly stock ..........not that looks really matter, but part of what makes it ugly is the "zipper" where you get your cheekweld, it always snags any beard growth you might be sporting, starting at about 2 days worth for me personally. The Magpul stock felt really good at SHOT and I think the street price will be even more reasonable. Plus, the buttpad should be better (more ergonomic and non-slip) than the Vltor YMMV and just my .02 worth
michael1778
Magpul 2012 catalog shows $69.95 with a Length of Pull at 13.25". Tube Type = "Rifle length"
45shooter
Looks like an efx which have been around for while. Nice feel with long tube for good recoil impulse Edited February 12, 2012 by 45shooter
Brian N.
I tried one at the magpul booth at SHOT show. I liked it, and will definitely consider one for my next rifle build.
Mr Player
I too like the new MOE and will probably end up with one. I am slowly switching over to the new Vltor A5 system. All the benefit of rifle recoil system and all the benefit of a cola sable stock.
Matt1911
I've been running the VLTOR clubfoot with a beard and haven't had a single hair snagged. By the way, it's an awesome stock with very little weight. Great for 3-gunnin.
