  1. I also have found that 2 hours is a good number.
  2. Yup! Started with a 750 and upgraded about a year later to the 2001. Huge difference! Sold the 750 to a buddy at work that was just getting started in reloading. We were both happy!
  3. Haven't logged on in awhile and just noticed there doesn't appear to be any Dillon stuff in the store section anymore! What gives??
  4. This ^^^ Rifle or pistol, I scrap anything that has odd numbers or markings. Not worth the hassle on the press. I do my best hand sorting to weed out anything questionable. I don't like having problems on a progressive. Takes up too much time.
  5. I'll second this. If they pass the gauge and feed in your pistol, and are accurate, there is nothing to worry about.
  6. I have been very impressed with Aero products. The last build I did for my buddy at work was with the M4E upper/lower line. Lower was fantastic to assemble and has very nice enhanced features. I bought a complete upper for myself last year on a black Friday special and it is great as well. I'm sure all their M5 .308 line is just the same. Very impressed by the fit/finish.
  7. I have found that the 17 round PMAGs don't reliably lock my QC10 9mm back when empty. Factory Glock 17's & 33's always lock them back.
  8. My BiL has a LNL. He has issues. It seems from seeing online posts/gripes like the major issues pop up when a casefeeder is added. And it seems if you are going to be changing calibers then you run into issues getting everything just right each time a switch is done. Do yourself a favor...buy once/cry once. Sell it & get a 650 with casefeeder. You'll be happy! BTW, I have 2 650s and now a 1050. They rock! The 1050 priming is magic!
  9. Check to see if your platform is loose first off. I was chasing everything else and finally figured out the platform was loose. I think it's crazy that they don't Loctite those 2 bolts at the factory. When I got my second 650 and when I set my buddy's new 650 up, I loosened one at a time and Loctited them so we wouldn't have a problem in the future. ETA...you'll have to pull the shellplate off obviously, but it's wirth it to check to be sure and you might as well do a little PM & cleaning while you're in there.
  10. BTW...I was crunching a lot of brass on the resizing die
  11. Actually, now that I read your description more, it sounds a little like what I had experienced with my first 650. It ended up being the main bolt on the platform that worked loose and threw everything out of whack. It wasn't Loctited from the factory ? they will send you an alignment tool no charge if that turns out to be the problem. Good luck!
  12. it's Friday....still time to call Dillon. You might even be able to get any parts needed delivered by USPS on Saturday depending on location relative to AZ.
  13. I searched and found some very old listings with prices all over the place but I'm still wondering if someone knows the history behind them being discontinued (if they actually were discontinued). thanks in advance ?
  14. So either of those have a good combo of low recoil and lack of side/rear blast/obnoxious noise?
  15. So, is the consensus on the Seekins ATC that it is the best happy medium between effectiveness & lower sound/blast?
  16. It might be worth a try to pick up some Magtech 77gr SMK to test in your guns. SG ammo has had it for around 60 cents a round or so. It has proven to be very accurate in 3 different ARs that I have run it thru. Of course YMMV
  17. I have a Speed Rig for an STI 2011 Edge and (5) competition teklok mag pouches I'm going to sell off but I don't see them listed on their website anywhere. I was trying to gauge prices so I know what to price them all at. Were they discontinued? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance
  18. Switched about 9 years ago from SA/DA Sigs to Glock and shot much better, especially 1st to2nd shots. Just took a little getting used to the new grip angle. Bought a CZ worked over by CGW. Definitely more accurate but doesn't feel "right" or as natural. Just going to use it for Fire/police games because of the accuracy at the 25yd line. Will stick with Glock for 3 gun.
  19. I haven't been shooting 3 gun for awhile (too busy with kids) and feel pretty much out of the loop. I've had a NIB Versamax tactical that has been sitting in the safe and finally got out and shot it a little. For as out of practice as I felt, I shot pretty well and felt like it had less recoil and I could transition faster than my M2. I know it needs a lifter, extended tube and an extended choke tube. What is everyone recommending for these parts? I'm leaning towards the Taccom tube from what I have seen...they look pretty tough and adaptable. I'm thinking 10 rounds in the tube and I dual load btw. Or should I do something different due to newer rules? Anything else that is recommended for tac optics division? Thanks everyone for any help and advice.
  20. I have a Glock 34 that has a Glocktriggers Edge kit in it and I have failures to ignite 2-3 out of every 100 or so. Winchester SPPs in my reloads go bang everytime as does all of my Federal, CCI, Remington and Winchester factory ammo. It is only the Tula SPPs that give my 34 any trouble.
  21. Venture over to ARFCOM and see what a shitstorm IceArms has turned into. Lots of unhappy customers, lies, poor CS and problems with their products. I wouldn't try my luck....LOTS of proven names out there and they also support our sport. Buy from them instead
  22. Pete always puts on awesome matches. It will be a good one if you can make it!
  23. Thanks for all of the feedback so far. i think I am going to try some CCIs. Have been using Win SPP for my match ammo and have had 100% good luck so far. Have about 20000 more of the Tula that I have been using for my practice ammo and they have a few FTFires here and there in my Glocks. I will use those up in my practice ammo and do some testing with the CCIs to see how they fare. CCIs seem to be available for the best price as of late compared to everything else.
  24. I know Federal is considered the softest SPP out there...where does the CCI stack up compared to Federal and Winchester? Thanks
