Seth B
Just wondering what timers you are using that have a par function? Im looking for something to practice dryfiring with. Also does anyone make an app for the ipod touch. I tried a couple shot timer apps but they wont work because it doesnt have a microphone. thanks
MTSCMike
I have used the Pact Club Timer for years. They are easy to use, rugged, clip in your belt for self timing and feature several modes including par timing. http://pact.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=

STI91
Over in the classifieds forum, there is a CED 7000RF slightly used, shipped for $115.00, with lanyard and pocket clip included.
Ultimo-Hombre
For iPhone iPad surefire shot timer app. Good for dry fire. Par times and will pick up click. No good for live fire!

Blujay291
Any to pick up clicks and live fire?
my00wrx1
The 'dry fire timer' app is great for dry fire but it doesn't pick up clicks or live fire. That fact that you can turn the volume down is very handy so you are not disturbing the whole house. I have done a review on the forum and on iTunes. I've found it better than the other apps for dry fire in part because you can set strings and don't have to continually reset the timer.
Dirtychemist
For iPhone iPad surefire shot timer app. Good for dry fire. Par times and will pick up click. No good for live fire! I second this for dry fire. I have it on my phone AND my iPad. I haven't tried it live.
theKenny
I use a CED7000. Same here
Wannawas
I'm trying to download the surefire app, but after I tap on download, it says this product is no longer available. Anyone knows what's up? Also, I recommend you don't delete it as you may not be able to download it again until it's back.
C-Money
Which timers have a Par time function that can go down to 0.40 seconds? My CED 7000 only goes to 0.60.
AdamM
Probably none do. At 0.60, it literally just finishes the initial beep, then the Par time goes off. At 0.40, you would probably just have one long beep?
eric nielsen
My Pact III (like the photos in Brian's book) starts to sound like a long beep with a hiccup in the middle when you go under 0.60s; you can still hear the 2nd beep down to 0.50 then at 0.49s it's all one beep. Pinka
IPSC Shot timer is a good dry fire option for android devices, will pick up a DA dry fire shot. Still nothing with the surefire app though
FireNHole
Another one for CED7000. Got it from Shooters Connection.
Laughingdog
untill you get a real timer try this http://www.predatortactical.com/cart.php?m=knowledgebase_detail&id=5 For dry-fire, this really is the only thing you need. I have a Pocket Pro 2, and I go use the one on predator tactical to train at home.
