Does reaming the barrel effect accuracy at all?? I often wonder why I continue to shoot JHP in the shadows when if I just went with the RN I could use whatever length I want.

I'll probably get blasted for not using the search function but..... just getting in to the shadow 2, can you load 124 gr jhp longer than the SP01, i was at 1.095 for the SP01. May be a silly question but I see Legion magazines have a square baseplate and standard 320 are rounded in the front. Are the tubes the same??? Looking to pick up some more mags, and plan to add TTI baseplates, will the 320 mags work? Thanks

There is no reply option when looking at threads in non dealer brass, I started with bshooters post for 9mm brass, checked numerous others and all the same but only in that sub forum. +4 on SP and Mec Gar, use the CZ mags for dry fire.

It was between the strong mounts, have no idea!!!!! Dont know if there are any in the primer system, had that off a couple times lately, will give that a shot next. ​Thanks Sarge

J, my found set screw is the same size as the station 2 locator but that is installed. Confirmed bottom of ram is same size as shell plate screw.

Found a set screw under my press yesterday, cant figure out where it came from, fits the smallest allen wrench in the tool kit. Thought it might be from the shell plate bolt but that is larger and in place. Thanks for the help

The short dust cover is not called the SP-01, it's what I shoot, think for a used gun it should be a little less. I probably have 13 - 14 in mine. Just remember this model does not have the beveled mag well you get on the SP-01 shadow.

At least order some lighter springs, cant remember what it ships with but springs are cheap, my 11 pound main sets off winchester primers without a problem.

Before I started tucking it under the panels it always moved after a heavy dry fire period. If that isn't an option I'd stipple it.

When I put grip tape on the front and back straps I tuck it under the grips, usually replace it once a year, wears out before it moves. I use the VZ aggresive checkers for grip panels.

Ask your local match director if he'll sell you 10, I use Stoeger's scaled version for dry fire though.

I bet everyone that says cut back on the mods is shooting a M&P or Glock and only wants their trigger mods and guide rods left alone! It doesn't take a gunsmith or a ton of money to tune a CZ or Tanfo, it's not an arms race, shoot what you like. Leave it alone, it's working!!!!

Had this problem a couple months ago, while doing some dry fire the trigger started to get slow to return, felt like it would hang about half way back. Hadn't cleaned it in a while so tore it apart and cleaned it good, shot a couple matches with no problems. Last night problem started again, cleaned again and no joy, swapped out trigger return spring still hanging. Any ideas where I should start?? Thanks Oh ya, 75 Shadow, short dust cover.

I only asked because I don't practice my load and make ready routine very often. I don't dry fire as much as I should so when I do I usually have other stuff to work on.

Every single time?? Do you have dummy rounds in your mags when you dry fire? Every rep prior to placing your gun in the holster you rack the slide, eject a dummy round to the floor, lower hammer and then hit the timer, that is a lot of time wasted if you are going to do 20 draws to sight picture. That is a lot of time practicing make ready. Maybe first rep per exercise I could understand but not every rep.

I'm curious, how many of you rack the slide and lower the hammer during dry fire. Curious because I hardly ever do, dummy rounds fill the mags but never put one in the chamber. I was also nervous about forgetting the lower the hammer on make ready but fortunately as of today have never had an issue.
