I believe it will be reactive/steel targets only with hits or misses and FTN or FTE and time. Should be a great format. No paper. CCC is a great range with all natural settings for the stages. There will be a lot of movement and use all 3-guns on many of the stages. The jungle run will be challenging.

I hope they still have some close up rifle targets...if a 3 gun doesn't have close range rifle, it's doing something wrong sight.gif

We shot one of our WHIDPA matches there a couple of months ago. The steel rifle targets were set up from 25 yards out to 500. No hoser stages for the rifle. The combination of guns and movement on each stage made it challenging especially the jungle run. I am not sure of exactly how the stages will be set up. This is where the Larue match was shot a couple of years ago. You will enjoy it. It is going to be different than your typical 3-gun. It was probably the most fun and challenging match I have been to in a while. You will need to know your zero. I know there will be 3 guns used on several stages. Speed will be good, but accuracy will keep a level playing field. Shotgun and pistol shots will be just as challenging.

Can I shoot open class or is this a tactical match, no optics on pistol or shotgun and no speed loaders??

Price???

Price is going to be either 30 or 40 bucks with 10 going into a pool for an end of the year party where you'll have a chance to win some good gear.

And i think it's pretty much run what you brung but i'll confirm tomorrow.

I would like to personally thank everyone that came to our first monthly match at CCCShooters.

We had 25 shooters and I enjoyed each and everyone of you guys, a true bunch of professionals.

Thanks for enduring the beta test of my new scoring system, I thought it went well and received nothing but positive comments about it.

The weather was hot but the shade we have at CCC helped greatly, I saw no one with any signs of over heating. We finished the match at 2:15pm.

Scores have been already posted in this thread but I have them on the website under the July Match menu at cccshooters.com.

My vision for our matches is to create a match that requires shooting and gun handling skills, a moderate amount of physical endurance while making it tough to GAME. We have a unique range and we want to have matches that test your skill as a marksman not as a strategist...

I look forward to see you all next month and will accept any suggestions and comments about the match and scoring system.

Thanks,

FredQ
