burningsquirrels
has anyone tried replacing the soft velcro on the outer CR speed belt? mine is all worn out.
TruStreet
You can buy the Velcro at any craft store. I bought 9 ft. of heavy duty for $8.00. a Taylor wanted $25.00 to sew it on. More the half the cost of a new one!

burningsquirrels
Well since it is junk maybe I can drill it and put fixed bolts with wing nuts.

sperman
You're in the south. Fix it with duct tape.
Outsydlooknin75
I bet if you were to go see Richard at Jones Tactical he could hook you up. Only downside, he has a 7 week backlog. Unless you go see him at an Eastmans gun show he is at. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk
fueddy
Mine is doing the same thing! Just got it this winter and its ripping from the belt I had a CR Speed along time ago but got rid of it when I stopped shooting USPSA and it was fine. I superglued the shit out of it but it only lasted a few monthes with that.If you do bolt it please send pic's! Love to see what she looks like What about the Safariland plates? Drill out the belt for the Receiver plates? The bolts could hold the new velcro in place and I've been thinking about the Safariland ELS system for 3gun. Thoughts? okshootist
Try a boot or luggage repair shop. It will probably cost a lot less and they should be better equipped for the job.
AzShooter
Shoemaker. It's about a 10 minute job for them but they haved a heavy enough sewing machine to do it. Cheapest way get an awl from Tandy Leather and do it yourself. I recommend you also get thet leather holder that goes between your lega to hold the belt but it's not really needed. rhd2542
I used Velcro and a glue called E6000 bought at the craft store. That E6000 will glue most anything to anything very strong.

twodownzero
Glue didn't work for me. A shoe repair shop charged me $8 to re-sew the whole thing.
