This is the first time loading for this gun. I had a redding seating die which I changed back to Dillon Dies which has a separate crimping die. My buddies round was the same oal, his crimp was .418" which I did try today on my load. I bought this gun used with a very low round count. (500) The gun has a Shuemann AET barrel which has never been cleaned, and shot only MG bullets.

I would call this bullet tumbling . It's has a black circle with a tear on one side of the hole.

Crimp is .420" also the barrel is an AET

I'm shooting 180 gr hp montana gold with 4.9 gr of n 320. Oal 1.180 " The bullet holes are round but there is a tear on one side of the bullet hole. It's almost as if the bullet is not entering the target straight. It seems to accurate but the hole are not perfectly round. I shoot my buddies rounds and they did make a round hole, same bullet and powder. I have changed the seating die but still does the same. This round is being shot thru a sv sight tracker. I need some advise!!!

I used Velcro and a glue called E6000 bought at the craft store. That E6000 will glue most anything to anything very strong.

I use the Bianchi # 100 for my Kimber 3". Good leather and a strong clip.

Got my skate tape at the local skate shop. They gave me scraps for free.

I run STI tuned tubes , Bolen springs,follower and bases for my limited gun

I have been using JP Enterprises trigger $119.00. Using this system for at least 12 years.

I try to shoot with better shooters. Watch them and ask questions. Take a class watch videos if possible. Shoot more matches and practice.

Need some 10 round dependable mags. for my SS. Who makes the best ones?

I have had both I like the bull barrel. As a B shooter I think the weight worked better for me in getting better hits with the second shoot.

I have been shooting a S&W 1911 the lowest cost model. It has been very dependable with both lead and plated reloads. I also have a couple Kimbers they also have been very dependable.

What would that gun be worth in califorina? Where it's very hard, expensive and difficult to buy one.

I have always had backup guns. Luckily I've never had to use one. I been thinking on selling my backup pistols could use the money, but because I live in California. I can't replace thses pistols because of there crappy gun laws. So I've been holding back.

There's a couple ranges near by who hold non uspsa matches. They don't enforce common safety rules like breaking the 180 and or weapon safe areas. If you break theses rules they just say DONT do that and let the person continue to shoot the match. I have complained may times with they saying we will strait DQing these people. They don't. This type of activity is happening at both ranges near where I live. All other matches are to far for me to travel plus I'm retired limited funds for gas. I sure hate to quit a sport I really like. Any advise?

The club I belong to has the same problem. We have 35 members but only 5 or 6 shoot matches. We do get 10-20 non members whobshoot. No one wants to be pres. but me. We have to cancel this weekends match because we can't get enough folks to help setup the match. Were dying quick.

I have 4 kimbers 2 full size and 2 ultra. One is from there custom shop the others not. Other then the looks they all shoot the same, very good.

My Dillon 9mm sizing die does not take all the bulge out of the brass. Using a 650 Dillon. Is there a better / modified die being used?

Do new SV Mags work in an older SV. I heard when they went to a metal grip the mags changed.

I use dillon lube . I lay my cases in a shoe box lid and spray a very small amount of lube then shake the lid. Let dry for 10 mins
