Sunny226
Thank you so much for all the well-wishes! John, your compliments brightened an already awesome day! Yes, I did read the post before leaving for the ceremony:) We are still writing thank-you cards, but wanted to share a few candid photos taken by my sister-in-law, Lori. In a couple of the photos, you'll see the Flag of the United States of America. We placed the Flag near the baptistry to honor the memory of 2 men--Sam's father, HM1 Ted Keen, USN (Ret.) and Korean War veteran, and my maternal grandfather, Lex R. Harris, WWII US Army veteran. He and my Ma were married for 48 years, and we're happy Ma was there. On a lighter note, our cake topper was my paternal grandparents'(who got to be there), and they've been married for 60 years. Between our parents and grandparents, family, and friends, Sam and I have great examples to follow. Marriage is hard work at times, but the fun makes all worthwhile. Like Sam said, we are very blessed Thanks again, Mrs. Hop
