Jman
A significant move by Mossberg into our sport I'd say. Don't know if Jerry is their first multi gun competitor. Anyway, I think this is cool and thought to pass it on. http://www.shootingwire.com/story/226556 Jim

suesstech
Very cool indeed. This explains why Benny had started toying with the 930's.
Jesse Tischauser
Its awesome to see a company like Mossberg join the game!! I hope they get in on some 3 gun nation or maybe drop a few 930's in a prize table next year Edited October 29, 2010 by jtischauser

Treym7
They also just signed Patrick Flanigan. I was shocked to see him leave Winchester, but one of his posts had mentioned that he plans to beat all of his previous speed records with the new Mossberg. Come play our game with us and I'll take notice. Signing Jerry is a the real deal. Now if you get Benny and Mr. Weakhand running your shotgun too. You're the man! If Mossberg is signing people like Miculek and Flanigan, they are trying to expand their product line to include more guns suited for the sport. I applaud their effort. bunsen27
This could be excellent news for helping get new shooters into this sport if Mossberg can produce a line of competition ready shotgunss in the $550-$750 price range. I just hope they remember not to make all the versions with ported barrels like they presently do. 2010 Mossberg 930 Specs SHOT 2011 debut with early spring availability? jar
Mossberg had two factory guys shooting at the US Coast Guard Academy 3Gun in CT last weekend. I'm shopping for a 3 gun shotgun and this definitely pushes me toward Mossberg. I like to support companies that support our sport. The fact that they're relatively local doesn't hurt either. Dan Sierpina
Is he still with S&W as well? I would imagine so. Jerry shoots far more revolver stuff than multigun. I'd look for his shirt to be looking like the front fender of a stock car.
GorillaTactical
pshhhhh signing Jerry.....clearly I would have been the better choice. If you're reading this Mossberg, I've very disappointed I didn't receive a call...email....txt....or anything of the sort regarding this position.
