Mags for Ruger 10 22

Hard to beat OEM Ruger mags if all you need are 10 rounders. As others have mentioned be sure to get aftermarket mags with metal feed lips. The plastic ones I have tried all failed to be reliable.

I've never had an aftermarket mag that worked for long. Some never worked. I haven't tried the last wave of new ones (like the tactical innovations).

If all you need is 10 rounds and it's for a match on the clock, I'd go factory. You can get them for less than $15.

I've got 4 factory mags and as long as I don't let them get to dirty they seem to work great. I can get them out of Brownells for about $13.00 I think I'll just get a couple more of those.

Thanks for all the help Tim

Hello: I like the factory Ruger clear mags. That way I can see if the are loaded with 10 rounds. I have two boys and they load up there mags and I just do a visual check to make sure they are full. If you want to clip some mags together Clark Custom have a coupler that clips 3 mags together. I was thinking of trying those. Thanks, Eric
