  1. See what happens when you say “nahhhh. I don’t need that”
  2. For the life of me, I just couldn’t get the stars aligned to get the trigger back on lol. Simplest part of the install and I fought and fought until I took it all back apart and started over. Not sure what I did wrong but it was defiantly wrong lol. I want that TSA take down block for next time

This is absolutely true. If you offer an inch, we will take that inch. If you offer us a mile, we will run with that as well. And not to stray away from the topic…. I believe this absolutely drives the org as a whole. In rules, in divisions, in everything. It’s both good and bad in my opinion

I think in some aspect, there is always going to be a gear race though. For example, the 320 x5 thumb rest. There’s three brands that come to mind and each one seems to have built up on the backs of the one prior coming out with a “better” product. In terms of money, sure it’s a much smaller piece of the pie than a whole new gun but it’s still gear hunting for that little bit of an edge.
  5. When you say that, it makes me feel inferior hahaha. When I did my GG kit, it was not a 30 minute job like I expected lol. And I’m pretty mechanically inclined.
  6. I dig the thumb rest too. I want to send my limited gun off to get drilled and tapped. the holster came out looking good though!
  7. My DPP and 507 have not had any issues racking off the optic. I forget who it was but they were crushing a barrier with their optic to clear a malfunction they couldn’t clear by hand. It still didn’t clear it (super stuck case) but he bashed it numerous times. Very violent. Held strong. as mentioned above, I would be more worried if the little things like prints. I’ve had a smudge on my glass because of this and even though it didn’t completely hinder me, it was annoying. My eyes went to that first a lot that stage until I forced myself to see the target.

Hmmmm. Major or minor. I think I would go major personally. Me currently trying to push my speed, I know I’m going to shoot more Cs. That extra 2 points per target maybe would be nice.

Me too! I understand practice will make reloads smoother and less prone to looking like my dog got to it. But I have to get there first

I slightly believe so as well. Only because of the popularity of 9mm 2011s. With that being said, wonder if they would take more of the CO rules or limited. The magwell being the one that sticks out in my head. I’d hate to chew up a poly gripped 2011 like I chewed up my x5.

My assumption was it would be an additional division as well. if they added SAO to the current CO, then a lot of us would have to consider the pros and cons of making an expensive swap lol.

That’s very interesting. I can’t say I’ve seen that either but my amount of shooting is most likely less than y’all’s too. worth taking note of though
  13. I have been trying out the axil GS 2.0 for about a month now. So far I like them. Used in two matches and one shotgun range.

I can honestly say that my limited gun has yet to let me down. I’m sure it will one day as more parts wear out but hasn’t yet.
  15. I agree with everything @Boomstick303said. I too wear a kore daily and it is stiff, but it’ll move around on you if you wear it like an outer belt. If you choose to wear it like normal it’ll be no fun weaving the pouches on and off. I did that for two matches before I got a belt and it wasn’t fun at all. Plus a tradition inner/outer belts allows you to ensure that everything is in the same place every time.
  16. If you do end up with a x5, little hand file and a dab of JB weld in the grip makes a hell of a magwell.
  17. Welcome. NC has some great clubs. I really don’t think you’ll go wrong with either platform. I personally have an X5 and really enjoy it.

That’s a great point. I myself would love to shoot open, I just can’t afford it. However when I shot limited with a 2011, that was much much easier on the wallet.

There has been a ton of podcasts about it. I personally think it’ll happen at some point sooner rather than later. I believe the bigger thing holding it up is finding a way to make it just as big as CO without taking away from CO numbers.
  20. Making one? Your own holster? Kind of sounds like a fun project
  21. I can’t say much. I let my STI sit for many years in my safe then jumped on the CO train.
  22. Wow. That looks awesome. I actually just set up a new belt for my Edge today. I wanted to give limited a run again to see if I wanted to dive deep into it for a while and maybe get a new gun. But rebuilding mine would be awesome.

And I personally don’t want limited to die. Hell, I’m looking at buying another limited gun. But the way it’s looking in the market and talk of the sport, it would be better to get a 9 and start practicing now with it.

I’m going to go on a limb here and say that sig played this half way decent. Currently, it isn’t a favorite for any USPSA division regardless of how cool it may be. But we all know sig is a huge sponsor that I bet is willing to push the SAO in CO agenda. I could be totally wrong but I think in time, it’ll be a solid platform for USPSA. I’d like to get my hands on one
