  1. CCI Mini Mags. There reliable, can be found most anywhere and pretty darn accurate.
  2. The "I" stamped brass is Independence I believe. The ones I've loaded so far seems to be ok. The only issue I've seen is the primers seat almost too easily in them. This was .40 brass so I'm not sure how they spec in 9mm. Zack
  3. I had been curious about the maker of this brass also. Now that I've read the comments I'm glad I trashed it all. I do load the Fiocchi stamped brass and have had good luck so far with it. Another manufacture I was curious about is the "ELD" stamped brass. Any takers on who makes this? Zack
  4. You should'nt have that much variation. Let Dillon know, they will take care of it for you. Zack
  5. Thoughts and Prayers inbound from my family to yours.
  6. I buy my bullets online but usually buy the powder and primers at the gun shows to avoid the haz-mat charge. Zack
  7. Lol... I think I could actually smell the weed oozing through my speakers. Zack
  8. I think why we have a "majority" of more civilized posters here is because we shoot matches, we travel to other States to shoot matches thus the chances of meeting other members ftf here is VERY likely.
  9. Thanks Mark. Thats pretty much what I was thinking on the static sheets. I think they will help more with the TG sticking to the sides because the N320 doesn't give me that problem although the TG meters great and the N320 is what doesn't meter well for me. I spoke with Dillon and he admitted the pencil lead shaped powders would not meter as well as other powders and suggested trying a new powder bar which I had already tried. It's not that big of a deal really. I was gonna try the N320 to see how I liked it and personally I didn't really like the feel of it. Not enough so to justify the added cost anyway.
  10. I just bought a # of the N320 to try and I'm having the same problem. I cleaned the powder measure, adjusted the measure and rechecked the scales so many times it was pitiful last night and just could not get a consistent reading. I was trying to get 4.6gn and probably made over 50 pulls and each would vary from 4.5 to 5.0. The TG on the otherhand is dead-on each and every time. I'm sure it's something to do with my powder measure seeing as most everyone else has good luck with it. I may try the anti-static sheets as described and see what happens. Do you tape them to the hopper or put them inside the hopper? Zack
  11. I bought a pound of N320 at the last show with intentions of trying it for my major loads. We've had a spell of warmer weather here this week so I thought I would load up a few different loads and chrono them. I was gonna load 4.6, 4.8 and 5.0 under a 180 just to get a feel for them but could not get it to meter very well at all. Starting at 4.6 and dumping the first 4 pulls I would get readings from 4.5 to 4.9. Adjusted powder measure and rechecked scales till I was blue in the face. Never could get a consistent measure. I'm gonna use the N320 as my practice loads until I run out and will be going back to the TG for my match loads. Zack
  12. My wife actually doesn't mind the smell of solvents although she did set me straight one day when she came home and found me cleaning them on her dining room table. I won't make that mistake again.
  13. Got a link for the canted FSB threads? I would be interested in reading about that. I just did a quick search on ARFCOM and the few threads I read seemed to be the majority of members in favor of the BM over DPMS. Here are the first two that came up in my search. http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=306419 http://ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=306446 Actually I was thinking it was Armalite that was having the canted FSB problems though I imagine they have all had a few sneak pass the QC from time to time.
  14. If money was a issue then I would seriously consider the Stag's.
  15. Just noticed your membership number.
  16. I'm no "super-duper speed shooter" by no means but I can tell you that it is a great feeling when you get through a stage and start wondering who that was pulling the trigger. With enough perfect consistent practice things will come together and it will be just like driving your car to work. ie: You don't have to consiously put the key in and start it or put it in gear. You've done it so many times that your subconsious mind knows exactly what to do without having to actually think about it. Keep asking questions like these and keep up the practice and it will come together. Zack
  17. Now that would be pretty cool if they could keep it competitively priced like the Spartan.
  18. WOW! Just...... WOW! Nice boat also. Your a lucky guy.
  19. Ahh... now I see said the blind man.
  20. I've seen that in a painting or something before. Is it suppose to reppresent something? Zack
  21. I wish Bushmaster was involved in the our sport as much as anybody does but I think it's kind of ridiculas (almost childish) to "badmouth" any company who is not involved in whatever event your participating in. Hell, if I or my family quit buying from every Tom, Dick and Harry that doesn't support our sport then we wouldn't have much to chose from. I don't blame Bushmaster at all for trying to get Military contracts. No brainer... More money. I understand exactly what your saying and would prefer to do business with those that help us but sometimes thats not possible but you won't here me badmouthing them because they do not at this time. Zack
  22. Care to enlighten me on what this is suppose to mean? I've never dealt with their customer service nor had any direct contact with Bushmaster but everyone I know who has has had nothing but good to say about them. Zack
  23. I've never owned a DPMS so I can't comment on them but will say I really like my Bushmaster 16". Never had to use their Customer Service so I can't comment there either. I don't think you would go wrong either way. Zack
