  1. As of today-- All 9's -- 144 .38 super/SC -- 142 Call me surprised !! I knew the 9mm was popular, but always somehow thought it was odd boy out. Guess not... My Bedell(s) 9x19 run perfectly. Five 38 supers ??? I don't follow. -Mike

  3. Hey guys, I'm looking hard at the SLP and was wondering how you guys that have one do your reloads? I can't seem to find an Armstec loader for the FN SLP, so just curious on technique. Thanks. -Mike
  4. The problem is not the mags. If you take measurements from 10 Saiga's, you will get 10 different measurements. There is no standard. These are AK receivers. Surefire used 8 different guns for testing and used the middle measurements for the magazine specs. They are designed to fit tight, which means some guns will be tighter than others. There has been 1 person that broke the front lip off of a Surefire mag using 3"magnum buckshot. I have had a dozen customers that have broke the front lip off of their AGP's shooting the same 3" magnum buckshot load. Surefire has a 5yr warranty, AGP does not. Surefire has been made aware of this problem and is working on it. I tested boxes of 2 3/4 00 Rem. express buckshot with no problems. I also tested 3" turkey loads with no problems. I hope it is an isolated case. Greg Thanks for the heads up on 'magnum' loads. Thank God I'm too wimpy to shoot those. I'm more of a low recoil guy. And yes I'm sure you are correct about the ten different sizes of receivers. I had heard that too. Just glad Surefire has the initiative/professionalism to produce a mag that they stand behind for 5 years !! Thanks for advice. -Mike
  5. UPDATE-- A little Dremmel goes a long way. I dremmeled the back face a little and rounded it off some and now the mag fits snuggly in the receiver. I guess what I don't get is how a manufacturer puts out a product that doesn't really fit or work right. I'm not mad, just more aware. Thanks for all the advice and help, this forum is hands down -- THE BEST !
  6. THANKS !! That's what I thought. And thanks for the help.
  7. HELP !! Just got my 2 new Surefire 12 rd. mags in and they won't lock into the magwell. Anybody else having this problem? My Saiga 12 is an '08 model and the AGP 10 rd. mags work perfectly. The design between the Surefires and the AGP are just a little different. I think my dremel can cure it, but I wondered if anybody else had a seating issue besides me. Thanks for any and all advice. -Mike
  8. DONUTS !! DONUTS !! DONUTS !! and for a scope -- Donuts are the best..
  9. God Bless the Navy SEALs and every man and woman who wears a uniform. Lone Survivor is outstanding! I gave my liberal Dad a copy for Christmas. This book is a must read.
  10. +1 on the Blade-Techs. They are a little pricey, but they work well. Put that mag in, run, crawl, jump and that mag is still there when you need it.
  11. Rich, My feelings are hurt. Just kidding. It's always surprising how many smirks and comments I get when I lug out the Saiga baby and then they ask if they can shoot a mag before we break down. I say hell yes! And,,,,they like it. Not enough to change, but they do like it. Go figure. PS My feelings are still hurt...
  12. Greg, Any idea who will be carrying these? I looked at Surefire's website and no mention. Just curious. Hey, I just found them in pre-order at Mississippi Auto Arms @ $52.95, ouch, but yet I ordered two.

  14. Man this sounds way cool!! Can't wait for the app. It's on my 2009 list.
  15. Same price range as the ACOG; maybe look at the IOR Valdada 1.5X8. I freakin' love mine. Just a thought. Good luck. -Mike
  16. Chris, I had this 'problem' with my Bedell and it was my mount screws. The C-more felt tight so I discounted that immediately, but after further examination, I could further tighten each mount screw another half turn. A little red loc-tite, and it was done. Hope it works out, see you soon. -Mike Patrick
  17. Hey FUNGUNNER, Welcome to the nonstop fun of the Forums! Have a great match. -Mike
  18. +1 with an open Glock. SJC makes an awesome G17 package. Light weight and very easy to manage. Your young shooter can shoot 9mm major or go down to shoot minor loads with a quick change of the spring. SJC guns are just fun and always run.... Take care, -Mike Patrick
  19. Gun Broker. I just got a DPMS 20" SS fluted today! My first attempt at the Gun Broker site, so we'll see how it works out. But there are tons of AR barrels, uppers, etc. Check it out. -Mike
  20. Denise, I am very, very new to this 3 gun fun. What is this steel/magnet connection? If your bullets have steel in them, is this bad? Please explain some thanks... -Mike
  21. Art, Sorry, as your friends gun. -Mike
  22. Art, I have the exact same DPMS system as you, I think. I had this happen to me yesterday. I was using Russian Brown Bear crap, and I token alot of my FTE problems with that. I pushed 100 rds. of Federal American Eagle without a problem. So we'll see. If I have it with other ammo I'll keep you informed. Have fun and good luck. -Mike Patrick
  23. Thanks Brian! John Nagel is a great guy and I thank you and Damon. God Bless you and your family, take care. -Mike Patrick
  24. Hey all, Thanks to Damon and the 'crew', it looks to be a great match this year. SIGN UP!! We put on a good show!!
