  2. Trapr and Kurt This sounds very interesting to me, I half to wait and see as it gets closer to the match, and maybe I can get some Ky. boys to go too.
  3. I too would go with thr Rock River for 9mm, I shoot with a guy that has a Bushmaster carbon 9mm the receiver broke back in the area of where the stock mounts to it I mean broke in half and from what I understand they are giving him alot of bull about fixing it or even replacing it heck he offered to buy another receiver they wont even shell him one of those

  5. Being a tool and die machinest and having 18 year of tig welding under my belt. Everyone here that gave advise is right in some way, yes it will show through all finishes like Howard said and Merlin is right too, this type of weld job can be evey costly it's not a $20.00 job I think in the long run if you just got a new slide all your troubles will go away. Good luck.

  12. I know that thing is going to shoot as good as it looks, just let me get my hands on the 9mm upper to match it the the 40 upper. And that stipple job you do the the bomb those other guys don't have anything on you
  13. +1 on the M2 with a 21" barrel mine runs everything and I have done all the mods to it even removing 1 oz. of weight from the bolt carrier. I run all the time 2 3/4 dram with 1 1/8 #8 shot.
  14. Thanks for building it ....We will be there to shoot it too. Now maybe with this new range in Ky. we can bring back the Ky. State pistol Championship
  15. If your grip is under cut alot that allows your hand to move up closer to moving parts. Try a grip that has not been under cut or not as much and see if that helps.
  16. To Ghost load a Benelli Drop the bolt on a empty camber. Fill the magazine to its max capacity. holding the gun firmly pull back the bolt just far enough that you can push a round under the bolt on to the plate. then put another round in the chamber. yours keith Not all will do it. My M1 won't and I've seen several M2s that won't. Corey, The guy that had your gun before you did not want me to fix the bolt carrier to ghost load, I just lightened it for him.
  17. I don't have the gun I just found the brass and was wondering what would cause that

  19. Lynn, What kind of slide is it ?? If it is a STI and has not had no machining done on it other than factory they will ( I think ) stand behind it and replace it.
