  6. I've just jumped into this 3-gun stuff and the other day I ran across these new to me shotgun shells called DIANA they are made in Spain they are 2 3/4 dram 1 1/8 shot of 8 and on top of that they are paper shells could someone please tell me why these would not be a good shell for 3-gun before I buy a case of them which is only $49.99 a case. Thanks

  9. I bought my 3 rd Benelli today, It's a M2 and man They have really improved the recoil on them my first Benelli was a M1, A real H & K Benelli ( It will be 17 years old this comming Christmas ) Out duck hunting with all the clothes on you really don't notice the recoil but the other day I was shooting it trying to see if I could make it work for Multi-gunning and man that thing will flat out hurt you.And my second one is a SBE Kinda over kill for 3-gun so I talked myself into a M2 and I'am so happy I listened to myself So can some of you Multi-gunners give me some IDEAS on how to trick this thing out for Limited in multi-gun THANKS
  10. George, You cought me, I doubled checked my OAL and yes it is 2.220 and not 2.200, you would think being a tool and die machinest I would get that right BUT I guess I have to many #'s runing through my head everyday.
  11. My over all length on my bullets 2.200 I do this so they will not hang in my 45 round mag I could probally go longer but I'am getting good accuracy with this and the v-max but back to the crimping I have not yet got the Hornaday's with the cannular so I don't know where it sets on the bullet and I do have a taper crimp but still confused how tight to crimp it ?
  12. Thanks guys for all the info and I have spotted the Hornady 55g FMJ but I'am real new to loading rifle stuff and the canulure scares me because I don't know what to crimp it to the others you don't half to crimp I think
  13. Does anyone know who the top gunsmith is that can trick out a M-1 supper 90 for multi-gunning ? Thanks
  14. Who has there cross hair on a good .223 FMJ 55g bullet WITH OUT a canular I have some V-Max there the top if you ask me BUT the price is steep if you are multi-gunning I'am needing some for close in stuff I will use the V-max on out further. Thanks
  15. I 'am looking for a match in the Orlando area the last week of June I figure if I half to do the Disney thing during the week the least they can let me shoot a match.
  16. Thanks guys I think I will be settled with the 55g Rem. or Win now I dont think in the multi-gun stuff they shoot much over 300 yards and probally 90% to 95% they shoot within 50 yards. Thanks again.
  17. I am starting in the multi-gun stuff I was wondering has anybody tried the 55g FMJ in Remington and Winchester they are cheep something like $6.00 a hundred most of 3 gun stuff is up close probaly would not matter much but sometines they throw in a few long ones so do you guys think these bullets would be good to use out to 200 yards ?
  18. I have only one question about the loaded rounds although I use and never had a problem with Tightgroup. Were the rounds left in the cold over night like say in your car, If so I have heard of a problem just like this from a guy I shoot with we still have not figured it out yet good luck and keep us posted.

  25. I need a little help in the shotgun porting department, Well lets start off by telling a little about my capabilities I'am a tool and die machinest and I've picked up building my competition guns I've built a limited pistol and a AR now I'am in the stage of getting my 1100 ready for open 3 gun and I was wondering about porting, so if someone has knowledge on this or if you have a ported shotgun, I would like to know about the hole diameter , center to center hole location, and how many holes and if it's one row or two rows of holes. Thanks
