    Miss you too

  2. Hey Bill, thanks, i tried your suggestion and started seating my primers a little deeper on my 1050 and notice an immediate improvement. I was having problem with lot #18-09 in my M&P Pro (this has a polished and slightly lower and squared sear, but stock springs) seating the primers deeper has work great in the past 300rounds through the gun. Greg
  3. I received my 1050 9mm Mr. Bullet Feeder from CZcustom.com (Angus) Tuesaday (it took about 7 days, including the weekend, from order to delivery). All i can say i wow.....if you are on the fence about ordering one, do it! I think it took me about 1-1/2 to install, and bam reloading just became a heck of alot easier..... Greg
  4. The plastic parts on my FL2000 finally gave out after 19 years. I sent the old tumbler to Dillon and they replace it with a new CV-2001. I think the one year warranty is only on the motor (electrical components), everything else is life time.
  5. Results are under the local match results section for club number NM15, match date 10/18/08. Greg
  6. The number of magazines really depends on the type of matches that you shoot. Locally, I seldom need more than 1-170mm (29rnds) and 2 -140mm (22rnds). I tend to shoot most stages with my 140mm tubes, and normally use (3), one in the gun and two on the belt. This being said, another consideration is potential forth coming legislature… One suggestion is to have a couple of magazines dedicated as practice magazines. These tend to get a lot of abuse from reloading.

    case pro

There was a thread last year on the case pro...post I never did get a reply from anyone who ordered one recently and received it, but those that have them seem very satisfied. Here is their website...Case Pro Good Luck, Greg
  8. Anyone received their roll sizer? I was thinking about ordering one, but this post has me a little concerned.
  9. My Wilson CQB purchased off the shelf came with one....
  10. I think for it to fit and to be used comfortably you'll need at least 22" W x 14" D. Gary Thanks for the input. I might need to look at sliding my 650 over 4 or 5 inches. Greg
  11. Trying to plan a home for my new press, how much bench space does a 1050 require? Will it fit into a 16" x 16" area on my bench? Thanks,
  12. All 3 of the local clubs have 4 stage matches, which great since it allows a competitor to shoot a second gun. I shoot open mostly, but love to shoot production because it makes you think through a stage differently.
  13. Sign me up, i need some of those.
  14. There is a great post here. Part II will really help!
  15. Here is a list of parts that have broken on my Edge in the order which they occurred: • extractor • slide stop • recoil master • rear sight hinge pin Regardless, it’s a great pistol and would not hesitate to by another.
  16. 1.135 is the longest that I have been able to load in .40 that will function in my hi-cap mags. You can load a little longer in the 10 rounders because the rounds are not stacking like those in a hi-cap.
  17. With Power Pistol are you seeing a lot of residue? When I was using it with my major 9 loads a pinkish film covered my C-MORE. It needed to be wiped off every 20-50 rounds.
  18. I had both do extensive work, Jim did a fantastic job on a Springfield 9mm SS, his attention to detail is amazing and it's a real shooter. Ted did a Hi-Power, IMHO he is one of the best in the business for BHP (a lot of his 1911 work is displayed here (LTW)). Jim will be getting another one of my SS in the near future .
  19. Ted Yost or Jim Garthwaite...
  20. What ever happened to Customer Satisfaction?
  21. I have been playing with 3.0 grns of Clays , 180gn FP (West Coast), WSP primers, COL 1.135. From my G35 the pf is 130. Very soft.
  22. My training was always live fire, 200-300 round 2-4 times a week. This would continue for the 6-7 months that it was warm here in Michigan. The winter months I would sit around wishing it would warm up so I could shoot. My shooting really did not improve. Last year I started dry firing 4-6 times a week through the winter months and only live fire twice a week during the summer. I found that my shooting actually improve from where I left off the previous year. I really believe that dry fire helps develop technique through repetition.
  23. Any know if Charlie is still doing trigger jobs? I've notice his web site is gone...
  24. Someone mentioned IMR 4756 in 9mm Major. Has anyone tried it with good results? (I did find a thread on lot to lot variation.)
