  1. Whats the word on Alpharetta? Seems to be a lot of choices for hotels and reasonable rates.
  2. They should pop out the top of the magazine. I inserted a punch into a notch on the front side of the follower. Used it for leverage to pull up and forward while pressing down on the back of the follower. Popped right out.
  3. Same here...I'd just be happy with time off to practice!
  4. I duck everytime one zips past. Sounds like a very large bee coming at you!!
  5. WOW....very nice pistolero!! Nice work Matt.
  6. pas...Seth and I are doing the same. We'll see you next Saturday or maybe Friday night.
  7. They just packed up and headed out this morning. There is a wooded area at the end of the cul-de-sac, they seemed to be heading that way.
  8. When it happened in Tx a few years ago, we kinda freaked out about it. We called a bunch of exterminators and they recommended a bee keeper. We found a local guy who would come take them for free. He was suppose to show up the following afternoon. They decided to take off (and what a sight that is) the next morning before he could get there. We've told all the neighbors and are only letting the pets out in the back yard. If they don't decide to leave tomorrow, we'll look up a bee keeper to come get them.
  9. Within the last three years, at two different houses, in two different states, I've had a swarm of bee temporarily set up home in a tree in the front yard. First time was in Texas. Second time was this afternoon. I was outside spreading mulch and heard a loud buzzing sound. When I looked up, bees were everywhere. They decided to stop for rest. I hope they decide to leave soon. Here is a short video of them. I think they're following me.
  10. I think this would be a great learning tool. The slo mo video posted recently which was shown from the side of an open shooter really showed how the gun moves. You could see the muzzle (and I assume dot) drop down and come back up before the next shot.
  11. Seth, that sucks. Glad nothings broke and just some bad bruising (and pain). I hope you help up fast and can make the Fredericksburg match next weekend.
  12. I didn't realize they made them in 40Cal. I've looked on their website and only seen 45, 400 Cor-bon and 38 Super.
  13. Congrats to both of you.
  14. I'm always looking for a good reason to come back home to Wisconsin. I think I might have just found another one!
  15. I'll be shooting in the morning also. I'll see you there. I've read some good things about E3 but haven't tried it. I just loaded up on 320 so I should be ok for a while.
  16. Seth, I appreciate the info. I've been using 4.6gr to get below the 150PF required for the steel match. I didn't respring the gun so I didn't want to go to low fearing reliability issues. Are you shooting Sunday morning or afternoon?
  17. Seth, Great work. It looks like you'll be in the B Class ranks soon. I guess I better get moving if I want to keep up. What were the details on the Classifier match in March? I'm hoping to make it. Bob
  18. +1 to that. I tried taking some night shots at Disney last week. They didn't turn out nearly as nice.
  19. Good on ya Matt. Commuting on a bike is a big advantage here in DC land due to the HOV lanes. I see guys riding year around. I saw one this morning when it was 18 degrees out. Coldest I've done is 29. Won't do it again until I get some heated gear. Stay safe.
