Big fan of the Everglades. Had double alpha and had to modify it a bit for it to work like i wanted it to. Everglades 10/10

Looking for what’s recommended for In-ear ear pro. Please no Walker Silencers. Not trying to spend crazy money but I’m also not trying to be super cheap. Let me know what you all use and love! TIA

Dont watch anyone else shoot a stage

Lets be real, we are literally playing with guns here. You want me to ask someone who has no Idea about the detailed rules to RO a shooter, or even better a new shooter? "Hey, Joe Random... I know this is your first match but take this time and chase that guy shooting the gun around the stage until you think he is done so I can go load my mags." Im not claiming to know it all because I dont. Theres still plenty to learn. -
What part of Louisiana are you from? We have a local match tomorrow at MCTA, about 10 minutes across the Mississippi State line. If you're around and want to come check it out, or even shoot. We will be getting started around 8:30-9:00

Slow down Bucko.... Lets not jump to conclusions here. Not wanting to become RO certified has absolutely nothing to do with running the tablet, helping set up pre match, tearing down post match, pasting/resetting.... I simply said I do not want to RO shooters, and this is for several reasons. Who wants to be the guy that has to send the new shooter home as his/her own discretion. The main reason I said I refuse to get certified is because then you're expected to RO. Like the guy said in the previous post, getting stuck in a squad where only 1-2 people know how to is just not for me. Not to mention, I have only been shooting competitively for just north of a year. With that being said, I do not necessarily feel comfortable being the only RO for a squad of 8-9 with 2-3 of those being new shooters. Our local matches down here do an amazing job(most of the time) of making sure squads are well balanced and that matches are ran as smooth as possible. We are far from not having people to run these matches, and the people that do, love it. So if a trigger puller is the guy that shows up an hour and a half earlier than he needs to, runs the nook 75% of the match, helps other/new shooters throughout the match, paste targets/ resets between shooters...... Then yeah I am a "trigger puller". Maybe try rereading the post before taking shots on an online forum. -

Man I had an extremely similar situation at a local recently... Just so happens it turned out to be one of my worse matches all year. Im there to enjoy myself and shoot. I understand helping out and i am all about that. But I am totally not a fan of RO'ing. I refuse to get certified for this reason. But showing up early sometimes a day early, definitely improves outcomes. -
I just ordered a Honcho on Monday! Not looking forward to the 26-28 week wait but hopefully it goes by quick! How do you like yours? Seems like everyone loves them.

Red Stitch is the best ive seen. Easiest to reset but be careful with those magnets. Still have a purple nail from it!

My bad, I shot 2 gun nats. I was thinking this was PCC/Carry Optics at the end of this year!
-
Right now? NOTHING! Stuff is still too hard to get

Very true. Did not even think about that as sweeping. Ive also seen people bend over to pick up brass and their muzzle sweep me or others while their pistol is holstered. Id assume this would fall under the same rule? Just curious. Good point
-
I got on the waitlist. Was just curious if there was a chance I actually am able to shoot it. How likely is it?
-
I have more than 50 but thanks... If you can help it, i feel like it is more wise to not end an array on steel. Especially if that steel is not visible from another position. Its not a "rule" just a helpful tip in my opinion. If you call your hit on the steel and move to the next position before it falls..... now what?
-
I made this mistake before. The steel began falling and i literally stood it back up with the following shot. Taught me to trust my steel hits. Also smart to never end an array on steel. Make the steel the first target/s your shoot in the array so if one doesn’t fall you can come back to it after you finish the paper.

Has anyone ever been hurt by a 180 violation ?
Ccampo1129 replied to Hi-Power Jack's topic in Match Screw-ups
Just because we’ve never seen someone get hurt by it…. Doesn’t make it safe. I still get super nervous when new shooters come up to shoot. I find myself looking for something/someone to hide behind. -
Do you shoot better when you are with better shooters?
Ccampo1129 replied to bigdaddyZ's topic in Little things I've Noticed
100% Being super competitive forces me to try to be as good/better than those around me. If you are just out there to shoot and care less about what place you come in then its probably irrelevant. If you want to win you will push yourself to be the best and being surrounded by better shooters will motivate you! Just my opinion -

Pre match planning is everything. Do not wait until your squad is up to that stage. Show up early, do your breakdowns then! Watch others and learn from them! Learn from their mistakes. -
Its awesome listening to the pistol shooters complain

Pcc is that much more fun...... that reason alone!

I have the Panther X7 by the way!

Call Pilla! The owner himself is extremely helpful. Phillip is his name if im not mistaken. He gave us a killer deal on a pair with 3 lenses. He went as far as providing me with the three best lens colors he thought would suit my environment that I shoot mostly. Basically each covering any environment id come across in South LA. Changing the lens is beyond simple. comes in a nice hard case with a lock on it. Highly reccomend

Hammer Armament is on the rise! They make some badass products! They get my business from mag pouches to holsters! 10/10 in my book

Ive been shooting with Pilla Panther's for almost a year now. Came with three different lenses and I have zero complaints. Amazing quality and comfortability.

Thats almost enough to buy a new open blaster!
