  1. Bob Great product, like I said earlier this thing is the cat's meow. I am like Carmony and never used it before going to the Sunflower Classic and the Kansas Outlaw ICORE. Worked like a dream.
  2. Received mine yesterday and trying it out real quick , this is going to be the cat's meow. Good job Bob and Thanks
  3. While attending the ICORE Mid West Regional in Arkansas this year there was a competior who was shooting 158 grain bullets and was not having any problems. I was going to get his data from him before I left and like usual I forgot. I was hoping that he might see this and be kind enough to post his loads or someone would remember his name and send me his phone number. Bill I do have some 130 Rainer loaded up with the 4.6 UC and seated to 1.100, I have just not put them through the pace. I do have an array of bullets from 124 to 151 and all are either .355 or .356. I found some 160 gr .357 Meister lead bullets that I have had for ages and thought I would like to try them. The reason for the panic is that the weather has finally allowed me to get out and test loads and I had been using the load I described in my first post and with the courses that I had been shooting everything was within 25 yds. So I never realized that the accuracy dropped off after 25 yds. I am traveling to the ICORE Rocky Mountain Regional the first weekend in May and was needing any help I couild get. I will post results after this weekend.
  4. Nice!! Whose grips and cylinder release?
  5. I am looking for any information on loads that use 158 RN jacketed or 160 RN lead. I am also going to order some of the X-Treme 147gr sized at .357. It seems that the .357 bullets will shoot better beyond 25 yds in my .356 barrel than the .356 bullets. The bullets I use now are .356 124 grain Precision Bullets and they are good up to 25 yds (1 1/2" to 1" groups), but out to 50 yds I cannot keep them on a 9" plate go figure. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Not to burst anyones bubble but these 38 supers have .357 barrels on them or at least some of the ones that I know of that have been guaged. If S&W was going to sell as true 38 supers then the barrels should have been .356. Just my 2 cents worth. If you want a 38 super, have the cylinder reamed and a .356 barrel put on or just save some money and have the cylinder reamed for 38 super on a 627.
  7. ICORE Mid West Regional ICORE Rocky Mountain Regional Sunflower Classic Sectional / ICORE Iowa Sectional ? IRC Revolver Nationals Iowa Back to Back SS/Revolver Thats all I can think of right now.
  8. Tomato tomahto. And what did we ultimately learn about the "hybrid" system? We learned it bleeds off enough velocity that by the time you increase your powder charge to compensate for it, you're right back where you started. (Other than you might be able to run very slightly faster due to a lighter wallet.) Now I know why I can run faster with my new 38 short Colt and I thought all this working out was the culprit.
  9. I just checked again and now it shows me at 55 again. I am really confused now. I think I will wait to see what the weekend brings.
  10. Well to top all I just checked mine and I am not even showing as being registered. I have sent USPSA an e-mail and will be calling them first thing in the morning. I guess when they either answer my e-mail or give me answers on the phone tomorrow I will know where I am at. For now I am out in Never Never Land with Peter Pan and a bit confused.
  11. They must call people at night because I started at 55 in front of me just 15 minutes ago and now I am down to 47. Life is good so far, now I just need another 47 to go. Hell well I am wishing I hope it goes all the way for all of us wheel gunners to get in. We need to show that we are a growing force to be recognized.
  12. I kept getting the 98 error message from 12:01 to 12:10, I finally logout and back in and got accepted now I only have 55 infront of me. Last year I was 7th on the list , guess I will make plans for something else incase this does not work out. Too bad we get punished for a kink in USPSA's link.
  13. Because the West wasn't won with a bottom feeder!
  14. Shoot 8 shot in ICORE check it out on www.icore.org and buy a 625 and use it in USPSA. Makes life a whole lot simpler and you don't have to count.
  15. It's the waiting list for me and I have talked another one of my friends from Kansas to get on the waiting list. Yes I do have friends
  16. I'm game for that, but I am staying at Motel 6 which is just down the road. It is half the price of the Holiday Inn. I think Mike Homm from Kansas is going to split the room with me. Total cost for the hotel for the weekend is $114.00 split 2 ways only costs me $57.00. Leaves more money for beer.
  17. I have made my reservations today and entry fee for both matches is in the mail.
  18. If Doug and I leave at our planned time we will arrive around noon.
  19. I'm working on a 4.2/4.3 Clays load with 158 Rainer RNFP, 1.50 OAL with Rem or Starline brass. It's giving me a little less than 130 PF out of my ported gun. I'm looking at Zero's 150 JRN .356 bullet for a great accuracy load, 4.2 to 4.3 grns, I'm loading a bunch tonight to test more. Will be trying some 158 Berrys RN soon I hope. Here's what I use for .38 Special ICORE: 158 gr. Rainier Plated RN @ 1.100" - 3.0 gr. W231 - .38 Short Colt Brass 158 gr. Rainier Plated RN @ 1.505” - 3.6 gr. Clays – 130 PF - .38 Special Brass Gun is a 5" 627. What is the power factor on the 38 short colt and are you showing any signs of pressure?
  20. One thing I have learned in all my years on this earth is that "pussies" are a good thing. I don't think I have ever met one that I didn't like. Life Member ICORE part time USPSA.
  21. Longbarrel are you Troy from the Land of OZ? If so you finally got a 8 shot and put up that 7. Man, how will I ever be able to stay up with you now. Smiling Dean
  22. I think the Bianche Cup also uses the D-1.
  23. Best Western 1394 W Sunset , Springdale AR 1-479-751-3100
  24. It took one year to have this done but I was in no big hurry and I kept changing things. Your best bet is to call Mark and ask him and let him know what you are looking for. Remember true custom work does take a little longer. Mark is a nice guy and if he can't do what you want in the time frame you need, he's fun to talk to.
  25. Sorry, I have been asked that questions a number of times and it was sold the day Mark at Pinnacle took it off the frame. Hearthco, made for 38 short colt Starline brass.
