  1. It's just the upper not the whole gun. I thought I could pick up a STI frame for the build.
  2. A buddy of mine has a colt MK IV series 70 upper in 38 super. I'm thinking of turning it into a SS division minor gun. it's in fair shape and has not had many rounds through it. Any ideas on what it's worth? Or if it's even a worth while project?
  3. Oh those good old college days, only ours tended to have beer at the end.
  4. Thanks, I think I'll have a local smith do it for me. The set screw has a hole all the way through into the barrel. I guess the loctite let loose some. I'll look into the stuff from Brownells.
  5. That's a bit harsh isn't it? I know you don't mean to throw it in the fireplace, but how much heat and how?
  6. I have a Barsto barrel with a Bedell Ti comp. The comp is loose and I need to remove it, clean it, and reinstall it. How do I get it off. I see the set screw, but I can not get it to move.

    Birthdays!

I guess in the grand plan of life it really is no biggie, just you hope plans work out on this one day of the year you know.

That made me think of a college buddy that did just that. Put ice in his beer, then I started doing it. When your cup was big enough to hold a 6-pack you needed some ice to keep it cool. And no, we never considered using a smaller cup

    Birthdays!

Thanks, too bad everything here has turned to crap and now I'm drinking for a completely different reason than previously planned. Oh well.....bottoms up
  10. I have heard the same thing. No details yet. Maybe Julie will see this and give us some more information.
  11. Hey Jim, I don't think people really mean to just leave it there, they just don't have to crawl around for every piece of their marked brass. I feel that if I shoot 32 rounds in a stage I need to find 32 pieces of brass and that does not happen. If I shoot 9mm then I get what I can find fast and let the brass hog on the next squad have at it.
  12. Would those be the before, during or after pics?????
  13. If you want to use it for production you had better cancel the shark treatment for it. You will put yourself right out of production that way.
  14. He goes shooting on her dollar and I think we all know "what" will "turn blue" next. Congrats to the wife PB! JT Now that's the funniest thing I've heard all day
  15. Chris, did I mention I was up for adoption????
  16. Yeah, I've heard it's hard keeping those loose screws tight Actually from that picture it looks like he would fit right in. Although I can't remember if he had one of them funny northern accents or not They do make you stand out some
  17. Try Georgia. We are always hiring teachers. I never have a concern for job security and the suburbs of Atlanta offer shooting everyweekend. I am not lucky enough to live there, but do get by in the southeast corner of the state just fine. (I can shoot four Saturdays a month within 1.5 hours)
  18. Alan, I know exactly how it was. I was one of the guys on your squad that gave up half way through since my gun didn't want to work in the rain. I guess that was to be expected since I bought it from the biggest fair weather shooter I've ever met.
  19. um, those are nice pictures, but how about some of what it looked like on Sunday
  20. For those that did not catch it on CNN a couple of days ago, they are going to make a horror movie about hogzilla and this boy and another that shot a similar hog are going to make their acting debut in it. No joke, you can't make this kind of stuff up you know.
  21. If they feed fine then bump up the powder.
  22. Try speed shooter's specialties (they are in the dealers section) that's where I got mine.
  23. I use a blade-tech for both my 2011 and my Trojan. I just tighten and loosen the tension for them.
  24. You would have to ask Henry(the SAW one not the other) I think.
  25. Dare I ask for pictures? Or if they are under age, nevermind! No, not underage, but who could think to snap a picture?
