With SDHP's I want them out of the bbl. ....at the very least @1150fps.

I'm pretty happy with my 9mm PCC 124 gr. load. It goes ~ 1400fps out of a 16.5"bbl.

Never heard of HAP data out of a PCC . You could use the manual...it might be a little fast out of the bbl tho

I would load two test beds with all things equal. X'cept for primers. Then look at which one has the the lower SD.

I load my guns for pest control You never know when a coyote or a rabid skunk can come into your yard . If a bad guy is in the way ....oh well..

The 3.1 bbl will shoot the JHP's out a bit slower. I've found that my little gun is ~75-100 fps slower than the box listing. My target speed is 1100fps with 124gr gdhp. handloads. Carry ammo hst's.

Lot # 083x062016 and lot # 088x022317 (power pistol)shows a weight difference of .3 grains

Get your sweetheart to shoot a .30-06 or 12g with 3inch shells. She might enjoy the fun!

With my 16" bbl PC I get ~155 PF with factory 115 rnfmj.

I like to resize my cases to .373 OD. Then bell the mouth for that the boolit will be a "slip/pressed" fit. Close the bell.

I like PP just for the flash and bang factor 6.4gr. CCI 500 primers with 124 grain JHP boolits. Works great in my short bbl.

You will need to experiment with your load to shoot "your" style. I'm not very fond of cookie cutter loaders.

Resize for a slip fit. The bell makes things easier to start the boolits. Then close the bell.

I agree up to a point. Speer 115gr RN boolit length .572 ,Everglades 124 gr JHP .581, Hornady xtp 147 gr .653. Yep so much fun.

I've found that I got to measure. Every manufacturers bullet ogive's are different. So I'll loose fit a shell -bullet into the chamber. (Yes, I'm aware that the 9 head spaces off the shell) Extract Then measure the distance for that precise location setup +/- I will mark the dummy for future reference.
