Thanks. I use the Lee u die. I have a Redding seating die and is seating properly. Not sure what else could it be.
  2. Guys, going through a brain fart here. Had some FTF last week on a USPSA match shooting minor. First approach will be for me to change recoil spring and find out if it’s a battery issue. Major I am using a 10lb spring (10.3gr AA7). For minor I am using 6.4 hs6. With 10lb spring. Should I go up or down on recoil springs for my minor load?

No. These are existing Czechmates found around the net.

The pic was only an example cause I didn't find one to replicate mhy problem. But the round is stuck all the way up past the chamber. Gene, yes I am using a Dillon 1100 with Mark 7. My target is 1.165" but since I use range brass, some come up at 1.82, 1.68, 1.72 or even 1.45. So the spread is wide coming out of the press. When I gauge them with the hundo, a bunch don't gauge properly, but when I test them with the plunk test they chamber and fall out by themselves. I know, go figure.

Hey all. Got a situation. Some of my rounds pass the fee ramp, but instead of chambering they keep going up and get stuck between the magazine and the upper part of the opening of the chamber. Something similar to the attached. Any thoughts? Not sure its the magazine as they have all been tuned. I am shooting 9 minor with 6.4gr HS6/ 115g CMJ everglades bullet/ 1.165" OAL/ 10lb recoil spring. Brass is range pickups so different COALs. Could it be the recoil spring? Or maybe the inconsistent OALs?
  7. DQs are part of the game. As we learn we will make lots of mistakes. Hopefully not super negligent ones like flagging people or braking the 180 rule, but it happens. Ive had my share of DQs.
  8. Tried both. nothing. Have also tried to change the file extensions but nothing
  9. well, I'm uploading from an imac I always use. I had just created a post with pictures. All of sudden is telling me that I cannot upload to contact you for assistance. Weird. I would post the error message but won't let me lol
  10. yes. they are all jpeg and reduced to an acceptable size.
  11. I've been able to upload photos fine until today where it says "there is a problem uploading yous file" to contact you for assistance. Please help!!
  12. Thanks. They were great help
  13. Thanks. That’s what I did. Left the mount and scope be and removed the cage and trigger bar to give it a thorough clean and that’s it.
  14. Trying to look for a detailed video or instructions on how to completely disassemble my Czechmate. I compete and the internal parts should be pretty caked. I do field strips every-time I shoot, but all I do is shoot gunscrubber down inside the sear and action, but I don't think it cleans it that well. Any suggestions?
  15. RedDotsOnly, Check out this thread.
  16. how about if I remove the mount without removing the red dot scope from the mount. Will this also throw off zero?
  17. I believe that if you at them from below, the U die is smaller.
  18. For minor loads I like HS6 although it might be a bit dirty.
  19. Now hear this, I would venture to say that every avid reloader has had detonations of primers at some point. Its part of dealing with primers. Now, I have an 1100 and switching to MARK 7 was a great decision. Just gotta make sure the press is on point and properly set up to avoid any hiccups. I have a ton of videos on this in my channel if you'd like to peruse them.
  20. Yup, same as above. I've never had a problem with them either.
  21. I usually use several load books for reference. They will have different loads for the same bullet weight and powder combination, but I just select an average of all suggested.
  22. I once talked with Bobby Carver, from Carver customs, and he said they are both GTG for 9mm. But I am talking about a major load.
