  1. I run a Stoeger M3K that was tuned up and modified by MOA and it works very well. Just change out different length tubes and it would work for everything that you listed. Even after MOA doing their work on it I think that I am still into it for less than a stock M2..
  2. I run 40 round PMAG gen3 with TTI base and keep a 30 rounder with TTI base on belt. I have yet to run empty on a stage with that combo.
  3. I have shot thousands of Blue Bullets 135 Gr. I like them allot and with the forum code are priced really well.
  4. Tom D. I sent you a pm about your cart. Thanks
  5. I received a pair of PIG gloves the other night..They feel great. I put some small stuff in my pockets and had no problem retrieving them with the gloves on. Did some dry fire while wearing them and they appear to not interfere with anything so far. The only thing that I haven't tried yet is live fire or quad loading. I am most concerned with the quad loading, not the loading part but the grab from the caddie. Hopefully I can sneak away from work soon to give them a real try with all three guns at the range. I will update once I get a chance to do some live fire.
  6. I went with the 550 years ago and never regretted it. It is amazing how loading for one caliber turns into two, three, ect. and with the 550 you will be covered for what ever your shooting needs may progress into. And their no BS lifetime warranty is great.
  7. I also primarily use a 40 round mag with a TTI +5 base pad and usually get through any stage without issue. I do keep another 30 round mag with a +5 TTI base pad on my belt as well just in case or for a stage with mandatory reload. As others stated no need for removable scope mount, I use ADM mount with my 1x4 Nightforce.
  8. Couldn't locate my golf gloves (haven't golfed in years) so I ordered a set of the PIG gloves to try. I will post up my impressions once I have a chance to try them out.
  9. I have run thousands of 135grn Blue Bullets over 3.2gn of TG with a 130 PF with really good results. Running a G34 with stock barrel.
  10. I have been using the one from Midway. I have no complaints and is holding up well. I have a +8 tube on my shotgun and it fits (barely) but fits.
  11. Mine has a really light pull to it as well and didn't see any directions that came with it for changing the trigger pull weight? I will dig out the package and check again as that would be a nice feature.
  12. I bet I have some golf gloves around somewhere. Might be a good way to try it before investing in some new ones. I have been looking at the PIG and Mechanix gloves.
  13. I don't think there is a callus thick or strong enough to avoid the burn that i received, but absolutely agree with learning not to get burned in the first place. I have tried to replicate what I did (cold barrel of course) and can not figure out what I did. But I am not under the pressure of the timer when at home practicing.
  14. Thanks for the response. I will probably pick up a set of gloves and try them out, but at least keep them in the range bag just in case. I will mostly just practice more so my hand does not wonder that way..Should probably get some good practice while the swelling is there as I will know for sure if I grab to high..
  15. Anyone wear gloves during a 3 gun match? I burnt my hand pretty bad at a club match today accidentally rotating the gun to far and the rib ended up in the web of my hand when flipping it over onto my shoulder for a re-load. Or do you just practice keeping your hand on the fore grip and not touching any part of the hot barrel? Gloves or not I have a pretty solid reminder going forward to not try to go faster than my skills allow. If you do wear gloves any suggestions on brand/style? Also if you do wear gloves do you just wear one on your support hand or both? Thanks
  16. I also use the Safariland model. I use both the 4 shell and eight shell models and have been very happy with them. The only complaint that I have is the price and you have to adjust the length for different size shells where as some of the others out there allow the end of the shell to stick past the carrier so there is no adjustment required for different length shells. The Safariland captures both the rim and end of the shell. Kind of a pain since my practice (dummy) shells are longer than what I use in competition.
  17. I purchased a complete G34 RTS package from TTI as well and could not be happier. Customer service during the process was excellent also. Highly recommend.
  18. I use Blue Bullets 135's over 3.5 grn of titegroup with my G34 (stock barrel).. Soft shooting and more accurate than I am..The forum discount doesn't hurt either.
  19. Great review..I picked one of these up recently from a member here in the classifieds and really like it as well.
  20. With 147 grn you need 851 fps to make IDPA minor of 125 pf. To be safe I load to 130 pf.
  21. 25 cent mod works well and doesn't affect reliability or the chance of it not being allowed for production/ssp since it is still the stock trigger.
  22. I have one with the FC-3G reticle and the zero stop. I really like the scope overall but also really wish that the illumination was daylight visible. Other than that a really great scope.
  23. I know that I am new here, but something that I found awhile back when searching this topic that has helped considerably with my one hand shooting is pressing my non shooting hand fist into the middle of my chest when shooting one handed. You are probably already doing this but I have been using this technique lately and has really improved my WHO control. And of course slowing down a bit to concentrate on trigger control.
