  1. I never agreed with "cheap/welfare open" No magwells, no comps, production based guns, no frame mounted optics etc. I think the decision to go to 140mm mags came from people asking for a 15 round limit (now ROs need to count to 15 to make sure they were legal?) or stock mag capacity (giving some guns a bit more of an advantage than others). 140mm mags helped level the playing field with parts already in existence. Just throwing the dot on was too close to production, mag well too close to limited, and as mentioned ports too open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. True, adding a mag extension can double the price of a mag, but now you need less than half as many mags for most 9mm. Hell, with 1 extended mag and 1 stock mag, I have 41 rounds available (42 if I just change the follower in the stock mag) 60 with 2 stock w/followers, and one extended. I think it is still growing. Starting to see more advanced guys shooting CO. The more we see if that, the more lower class shooters will follow. Still a ton cheaper than open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Could you put a small piece of tape on top of the adjuster to keep it from turning? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Ordered the same shim. Mine was still low.... but when testing to see HOW low at 25 yards, suddenly it started shooting VERY low, and group size exploded from 2" to 20"!!!! Yep, too much tension on the screw... stripped out. [emoji27] Should have a new one in a week or so.[emoji847] With the shim, it should be perfect. ??
  5. LOOKS like you had the mag at a good angle for a Glock... that's where you first got hung up. Point the mag well directly at you mag pouch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. My suggestion, based on what I have learned from the more experienced dudes here: Polish everything first Run it for a while, and look for parts rubbing... repolish those parts. The 13# spring... with a good polish on the hammer/frame/hammer spring guide/hammer spring, should be plenty.... and drop you down to around #2 SA pull. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. Sear spring and trigger return spring from Patriot Defense will help... but to getting it down much more, polish job will cut your numbers nearly in 1/2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. FWIW, Walmart now has replaced Perfecta with Federal at the same price!!!!! Side note: My Lim Pro is just as happy running the Henning pin as the PD pin. This is with the Stock heart shaped hammer. I am confident with the Titan, the PD is THE way to go. With the Xtreme medium spring, my gun has been 100% even with Perfecta. With WWB and Blazer brass the extra strength extractor spring was a must. With it, again 100%. Even with that heavy hammer spring I'm around #6 DA and 2-2.5 SA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. Extreme, smooth. Again, good for longer fingers. I prefer the less curved trigger over the OEM, and use the over travel screw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Hopefull the Patriot Defense palm swell grips change that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. When I went to the XFPB I needed no fitting. It's a cheap part that should fix your issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. Yeah, I had some trouble getting enough elevation. Others have as well, some ended up shimming the sight to compensate. Mine with the Vortex Venom is pretty close, but I haven't been able to properly sight it in at 20-25 yards yet. I'm a little low at 10... 25 should be better. I thought I was out of travel, but there was 1/2 a turn left... need to test again to know for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. You shouldn't have to discuss it to be sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. More weight, CoG father forward. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. ^ What he said. BTW, mine is Stock hammer, and stock 1 piece sear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. This is what my BOLO looked like after a fit and polish job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. When I did the BOLO on my Lim Pro, it only needed very minor fitting. My SA after reset, and my SA when cocking move the pencil the same. I'm at somewhere around 6 DA and 2 SA. I'm concerned with how much you needed to fit the BOLO. Try the same tests with the stock disconnector. I believe the BOLO lowered my DA a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Can't find a gun much better than a Tanfo Lim Pro. Stock II would be up there as well, but is a little harder to make weight. Lim Pro with mag extension and aluminum grips makes weight with a Vortex Venom sight and dovetail mount. Machining the slide would save a little more weight as well. 19. Tighten the screws.... they should give an audible click when holstering... even to run with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. I've swapped out my Lim Pro slide with an Elite match and a standard steel witness without issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. I think it's more about which parts break more often on which gun. How are triggers and mags needing to be rebuilt? I'm sure it exists, but I don't remember reading about how someone needed to rebuild a trigger here. Trigger return springs, and extractors (both low cost drop in items) seem to be the biggest issues. Same with CZ but with trigger return springs and slide stops. Tanfo rear sight has been an issue for some (seems many of these are simply due to the vertical adjustment screw loosening... though some have indeed broke (perhaps spurred on by the first issue). Today, both are very reliable and extremely accurate guns. Here Tanfos generally cost less. If they cost 50% more somewhere else, you know I would have a CZ (at least now that they reportedly have a larger grip). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  24. Still less time for the memory to corrode in your brain. What is the time limit for changing your mind? "You know, now that I think of it, that shooter that went though 5 minutes ago... I'm pretty sure he broke 180. Get him back here so I can DQ him". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
