That’s great buddy! Post pics of the blaster and your new place when you can.

DPP for me on my open and carry guns!
Anyone know where to get a good used DPP 2.5 or a new one at a good price?
-
Good luck! I find the research and “building” is almost as fun as shooting our projects.

I have used lots of the traditional ones and find them as a great point of contact to get a proper and consistent grip on the gun. Too far forward and you lose real estate on the grip. I’m now testing a Nitro Fin 2.0 on my open gun and like it as it’s closer to your hand. It’s all I use on my limited guns it feels great. Time will tell if it stays on the open gun.

Now I only need to wait about 3 weeks for my open gun to be finished. I hate waiting.
What are you getting? How long was the wait? 3 weeks left is not bad

Every open gun I’ve owned has been used. If you look for one that is a good deal and matches what you want I’d go for it. Choosing one that has a lifetime warranty is good as well. Limcat is one you can’t go wrong with EVER. Others have a warranty like theirs and make sure you get one from a longstanding builder if customer service and warranty is a part of your plan.

The locals that shoot the RTS2 seem to be very pleased. Most of the people that complain are ones that stopped using them awhile back during the issues and still want to rant about it even though Cmore has made improvements. The DPP has my vote.

you wont regret it
I just wish the capacity was better. It’s hard to change from the P365 with its capacity.
-
Gotcha. How does it feel now that you lightened the slide? Did you have to change the recoil spring weight after lightening?
-
A SAO CZ or TF appeals to me for some reason. No desire to shoot it in limited but would be fun to have anyways.

I have owned 2011 guns of that age and as long as they run and work I didn’t care. If it checks out I don’t think the age is a deal breaker.
-
I couldn’t agree more. Every time I go to the Range I make sure to take the p365 along and shoot it. For me I see no need to carry what you compete with. It’s no different than shooting PCC and then some CO and then SS. Train and get muscle memory and roll with it.

Shoots like dream! Flat and a tack driver! I have a Limcat Phantera in 9mm Major coming any day now for USPSA. Can't wait. I will post pics of that one also.
Did your Phantera come yet?

29 rounds are very tight in my MBX big stick...I would not call it reloadable.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ProAgreed! Way too tight

I shoot 2011 guns in competition and carry a P365. I’ve shot it a ton and am fairly comfortable with how it operates and shoots. A while back there was a BUG match and I decided to shoot it on the clock. The thing was amazing and fast and even at distance I got my hits. All that being said I would love to carry a 2011 but won’t based on the aforementioned comments and also because with my work garb I simply couldn’t conceal one well.

I’m pumped for you to try them. The customer service from Steve and the crew is just as good as the performance.

I recently had the slide machined on my S2. I've noticed the Shadow 2 comes with a slot in the recoil spring tunnel. The custom slides have even more hogged out of the tunnel.
This looks like a good place to remove weight. Does anyone see any down side to a big ass hole right there?
How much more weight do you need to drop for CO if that is what your intended end goal is?

I’m gonna give PD bullets a try for 9 major. 9 cents a piece isn’t bad. I usually buy blues for about 7. So not a huge difference. Neither my limited or my open gun have ever shot a jacketed bullet.
You are in for a treat my friend! Get at least 2k for the better deal.

Yours will run like a champ if they worked it over! My comments were in reference to those of us who take delivery of a stock gun and fit & tune it ourselves.
Ok! Thanks for that. I feel better and can’t wait to run it. The gun is essentially new. Do the triggers get smoother with a 3k round trigger job like some other guns?

@Fasthenk65 honestly the appeal of a Tanfo over a CZ is the badge of mechnical competence that comes with running a flawless one at a match with a great trigger.
You do that, and everyone knows you’re more mechanically inclined than a Shadow 2 owner.
And M&P shooters? We’re surprised when their shoes stay tied for the duration of the match. They can barely work the knots, after all.
In all seriousness now you have me a little concerned on my recent acquisition of the Tanfo Stock 1 Carry optics blaster. It’s been completely worked over by Patriot so I should be ok. I’ll find out Friday.

I'm diggin that! Thanks for posting.
P.S. For you Millennials, that means I'm groovin what I'm seeing. If I have some spare bread I may get it.
P.P.S. The other day I used the expression "You can't beat that with a stick" in a my local gun shop and a Millennial started to laugh and joked about what the hell does that old timer crap mean.
Hilarious! I’m 41 and my 11 year old daughter thinks I’m crazy half the time. And then they say things that we said at that age and they think it’s original to them.

Let us know how it goes

^^^^Did you go back to the DPP?

You might think about using the barrel that you have. Here's a couple of pics of a R.O. that I shortend the slide 1/2 inch, threaded the factory barrel .575 x 40, used an EGW conversion cone and a comp I made. The comp is similiar to Cheely's 2
port comp.
This thing is super accurate, quick and blast to shoot!
That’s a beauty!
