Does that work with the vortex razor?
No. The site will tell you which optics it works for but I think it is DPP, 510c, and RTS2

I am curious as to why I keep seeing STI and others call the 3.9" Staccato C a 2011. Not trying to stir the pot but am still confused.
-
Just be careful because if you use pliers or a tool with an oversized head you just may hit or knick the grip when using it. I did once and if it is a metal grip it can really leave a mark

Can't decide if I want a double or single sided frame mount. Anyone have any good input? This Is for a vortex razor
I am trying out a double sided mount to see for myself what it's all about. Currently zero issues with a single side though.

Dawson lo-pro or no button. and it's only $12-13 I have thin hands and wear a shmedium glove. Learn how to "flip" or rotate the gun consistently and it won't matter much. I HAVE to flip the gun to hit the button so I am used to it. When I first started shooting my 2011 I got the RHT button. It was very nice quality, but I realized after shooting for some time I was sub consciously afraid of hitting it and was cupping my support hand to stay away from it while firing. I only realize it because it started making my hand cramp a little... get the dawson lo-pro.
Could not agree more. I had the extended drilled and tapped Dawson WITH a button and would hit the button on the clock or would change my grip so much that it didn't feel right. Now I use the IDPA length lo pro drilled and tapped or the regular lo pro without button and hit them just fine when I need to.

They do stand behind their products.

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking

This is normal with the TF extension.

I am quickly putting my new Patriot tuned Stock 1 set up to the top of the shooting order as it’s just that good to shoot.
A local friend has an Elite Limited Pro that I may grab to build a second Patriot tuned Carry Optics gun. Other than the short dust cover (little bit less weight up front) I think it will be a good match overall as far as feel and shooting.
Is anyone using one for CO and if so what is the weight with empty mag? My Stock 1 is exactly 44.4 oz.

He had quite a bit of feedback on the version 2. It’s really nice.

Yep. It happened to me in a classifier and ended up zeroing it. Wasn’t pleased at myself for not getting it corrected sooner. I think the 2.0 has a small detent already.

My next open build will have one of these for sure. Going to order now so I have it.

That would be awesome. Luckily work has had so much stupidity going on that I haven’t had time to think about it. I expect mine late next month or early March
Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) yours!

Oh the love....you guys crack me up

I would say they are talking about the shaft that goes into the gun. It has to (1) make it through the frame hole and (2) be small enough not to catch up on the barrel link or anything else inside. With some sand paper and a little time it will be perfect. Also, the detent that was mentioned is important. Some shooters can push it up enough to make it go into slide lock while shooting freestyle and also weak hand.
-
Both are now discontinued so if anyone is looking for one and finds a great deal I’d scoop it up.

Great work on these John!

Bottom one is a plastic gun?

You were right!

I’m loading on a 650. Just ordered 5k of the Winchester and will play with OAL.
Thanks for your help!

Range report....
300 rounds of PD 124g over 3.5g N320 at 1.12. The gun is amazing!!!! Single action is better than most of my 2011 guns. The dot doesn’t leave the glass at all. I had two light primer strikes (using CCI #500 SPP) but they did go off in single action the second one. Also has (2) failure to feed and not sure what that is about. The round was perfectly horizontal just below the feed ramp. Maybe I will go longer with OAL?
What a joy to shoot! Incredibly smooth and to be honest hands down better overall in all areas than the full custom SP-01 shadow I had from CZ Custom.
Im going home to get more ammo and shoot in my back yard Range.
