I’ve been using 2 170 and 2 140. Have 2 155 on the way. The 155 are easier for me to reload. The stage will determine what you start with and what you will reload to and it’s nice to have options.

I have only owned an SP-01 Shadow and now this Stock 1. The Stock 1 feels larger to me. FYI, I have larger hands and long fingers. Stock 1 is butter in the hands with LOK palm swell.

As long as the mags will accept, usually 1.150

4.5gr of N320 under 180gr coated bullet makes major for me, from a 5" barrel. I'd drop half to a full grain and go from there.
What OAL did yours like?

Thank you sir

I picked up a little Rami in .40 and I’d like to load up some minor ammo. Does anyone have a good OAL starting point and possibly powder grain recommendation with N320. I’m using PD 180g RN and CCI Primers.
Thanks!

This may sound silly but it’s a good habit to wear eye pro as you do things like take the barrel bushing off and change springs etc. Things can go flying if not careful. The videos on you tube have been extremely helpful to me for 2011 guns. Now I’m learning a Tanfo and to me the 1911/2011 platform is easier. Good luck

I had one and it was very touchy to get right. Do you have large hands or small hands? Reason I ask is because I have large hands and still needed help reaching the release on one of my idpa 2011 and then once installed had too many problems riding it and not allowing slide to lock back etc. Took it off and dry fired more and learned to adapt.

Thank you. I’m thinking/hoping they are SV. In your pic the basepads look like the thin Taran pads. My pic they are super thick plastic pads of some sort (maybe STI). If the thinner pad was installed it would look just like number 29 in your pic and I seem to think the rib would be pretty much covered up if same pad was installed on SPS tube. I’ll find out soon enough. Fingers crossed.

Do these look like old style SV tubes?

They should be GTG. Any reputable non MIM safety should be good.

This is getting exciting

I wonder if it would shoot anything at all like my 2011 Open blasters

I wonder if some one could just build something similar? Maybe better?
Is it even plausible to start with a Stock 3 gun?

That dustcover is very long

I wonder if anyone got pictures or video of the samples at shot show

I have been looking at these and now you post this! A Domina in full race open form would be something I would buy this year. Keep us posted please

I’m looking for a stock three. Just saying

Thanks. I have large hands and a bunch of mags for large frame so that settles it.

I’m curious to know as well. I only own one and it’s a large frame but I would like to buy more.

it should definitely be easier to make weight than with a shadow 2, thats for sure!
The S2 is nice but is a greedy eater!
What size mags and why?

This! I carry three extra on my belt as I had a once in a lifetime reload fumble session while running to a position and lost two mags and couldn’t finish stage. The weight of (3) 140 is nothing on my frame.
