  1. I know it’s been asked previously, but anyone have a lead on slides for a stock2? Looking to have one built for CO and keep my slide for production intact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. These are going to be awesome. Can’t wait to give this a try myself.
  3. No reason not to unless you want to load short ammo and struggle with light strikes until you find the right length honestly. I’m glad I had mine done. Patriot Defense did mine and I couldn’t be happier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Are you using the stock sear or the extreme? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The varying tolerances baffles me on these guns. That is part of the reason it took so long to get grips to the market. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Try contacting Patriot Defense, they may have some insight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I have been using Royal Purple for about 3 years exclusively on my guns, and it’s been pretty awesome. Doesn’t get gummy in cold temps and I’ve shot it in -6 temps previously up here in the PNW. Doesn’t get runny in hot temps. Makes cleaning the gun easier too. It dang near wipes off. Been very impressed with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Gotcha. Splinters doesn’t sound like a good time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m not familiar at all with the Toni grips you are referring to. I run the PD grips and haven’t had any issues with them “wearing out” so far. I’ve had a set on my gun since before they got released for sale. They are supposed to be releasing an aluminum version too so keep an eye out for those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I believe the stock3 holster will work, but get ahold of Robert at Red Hill Tactical and he’ll set you up. Use my code “Worrell” and get 10% off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I started taking over the MD/stage designer tasks at the end of last year at my club. At the beginning, it really messed my game up, people asking questions about this or that, calibrations, stage brief questioning, etc. I was helping setup and tear down too. During the match, I wasn’t able to get focused and shoot well. After a few matches I got into the rhythm of things and have had no real issues performing well. I’ve also been blessed with a lot of help and am able to assign tasks to different people if things are needed throughout the match. Being stage designer and writing briefs has made me a better shooter I would say for sure. Spending the time on the computer and then translating that to a constructed stage is fun to me, plus if it needs to be a more difficult shooting position somewhere or a tighter shot to challenge people I’m getting that down and we have had lots of compliments on our stages this season and our numbers have risen as a result. 12. I pretty certain that even with small hands it won't be much of an issue, they do thin out pretty good as they go up towards the top and have kind of a scoop to them. I even had my wife handle my stock2 and she thought they were comfortable in her hands too.
  13. You don't have to have large hands for these grips, they knocked these out of the park in my opinion. I'll be selling my scale 2.0s because I like these prototype grips so much.
  14. So before I had my Stock2 reamed, I was having to load at 1.070. Now I'm running 1.125 with ease using Bayou 135s.
  15. Got my barrel back from Patriot Defense, it's nice to be able to load ammo at a normal length..
  16. Could you post another pic or two of that magwell? Maybe from the front and side?
  17. Yeah, a good polish, recoil spring and some Patriot Defense optimized springs will get you a ton better than stock and stay reliable. I would say the 15.5lb hammer spring should be reliable as well. Sear spring, trigger return spring, firing pin spring, and firing pin will be a big difference. Also check the chamber on it with several different brands to see how they all drop in. Barrel ream would be the only other easy thing to get done.
  18. Getting closer! It might help to make a line with a sharpie if you're worried about taking too much material.
  19. Good list, I had thought of a few issues but I mainly listed what I had issues with personally.. nice info John
  20. This is mine.. I may open up the back a little more but I'm happy with it the way it is.. I did notice a little difference especially on reloads I did get done clean.. the extra room made a bigger margin for error I think and still be able to get a good reload in.
  21. I just thought of something, what length are you running your ammo? If you got lucky enough to get one of the out of spec barrels that could be a problem.. first hit strikes the primer but not hard enough to light it because the round is too long pushing it farther into the chamber.. then it goes off the second whack.. worth a shot..
  22. My only thoughts are trigger bar spring or even possibly a weak sear spring..
  23. Hmmm.... I'm running the Patriot Defense firing pin, firing pin spring, Bolo, 13lb hammer spring, trigger return spring, and reduced power sear spring.. then I'm running the titan hammer, polished the crap out of everything, and an extreme one piece sear. Been 100% reliable for me.
  24. Mine is similar to that actually, I'll grab some pics.. it was really easy with a sand paper bit and the dremel.. took my time and smoothed it out.
