  1. yeah mines on the ramp and chamber how many rounds do you have through yours so far?
  2. I'll have to pick up 1k to try out next time I'm at Cabelas (tough to justify spending extra for CCI or WIN). When I ran factory ammo through my DVC the only brand that had light primer strikes were the S&Bs.
  3. I'm really interested to see pics as well - thanks. I've been leaning towards the Vortex Razor with JM reticle but I've been holding out waiting to see more on the new VX-6 1-6
  4. I'm shooting 3.7 gr of titegroup under 124gr RMR RN plated bullets. OAL at 1.140-1.145. I had some FTE at lower charges - but my gun did not have many rounds through it yet. Now that I'm over 1k on it I may try some lower charges again.
  5. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=228561 Check out this thread. Pat has done a pretty good review on it.
  6. i'm hoping this guy was just a troll, certainly someone cannot be that dumb.
  7. great video - this looks to be very useful to help unload those long mag tubes when practicing quads. thanks for the tip
  8. That is one of the reasons I went with the Invictus 2.8; I was not sure if I could do the quad loads and I could always fall back to load 2. I was able to load2 without any issues with the 2.8 and then moved onto quad loading. Getting used to the quad loading took a little more patience and practice but is worth it in the end. I'm sure the other guys with a lot more experience can chime in - I was the new guy last year.
  9. Double Alpha belt with ELS receivers from the BinaryEng vendor section. Currently running a Safariland GLS holster on an Invictus Practical holster hanger on the ELS system. So far it has been beefy enough to hold the 2011. 3 double alpha mag pouches and one rifle pouch that always stays in place. So far I only have 2 caddies, maybe I'll purchase a 3rd and to load strong hand with slugs when they are mixed together in a stage. I think it is awesome to be able to remove the shotgun caddies when I don't need them - they are such a pain when they are still on and you have to reset. I'm not sure I would call this an Ideal 3 gun belt setup, but it has worked so far. There are so many options out there it is difficult to decide.
  10. wow - there are some long shots with the pistol out there. I've tried at 175 yards with my M&P but was unsuccessful. My longest successful shot was at 75 yards.
  11. TTI does a "Tune and polish shell catch" in there upgrade package for the M2. You could reach out to him and see if he could sell it to ya.
  12. thanks - added to my list of stuff to buy
  13. plus a different spring as well? I'm also in the same boat with a 10 +1 M2. Would like to have the option of extending the tube.
  14. I have bought both the Dawson and TTIs to give a try. I ran the TTIs on my M&P last year and they were solid, so I figured I would try both. I think the Dawson's are a little easier to take off for the 2011 mags as many people noted above - but I really didn't find it too difficult to remove the TTIs either. I think I'll give them both a shot and see which I like better - as of now, still deciding.

    Which one?

gravy smoked brisket or smoked pulled pork
  16. were you shooting the 120 gr or 140 gr Hornady A-maxs by chance?
  17. good to hear. The more I read about this, I think I'm going to need some new dies and bullets to start reloading soon.
  18. I'm in the same boat right now. I have a safariland 578 GLS holster that works great but I saw a decent deal on a used super ghost ultimate holster so I picked that up. Now I'm trying to figure out which holster to use next season. I'll be shooting 3 gun and a little steel challenge. The race holster feels like the holster is not secure - it rocks back in forth a little bit (even when locked), but when it is locked in. I can't get it to come out - I haven't exactly beat it against anything to try to jar it loose though. Kind of wishing I could mode the super ghost holster to work with ELS or GLS to make switching them out easier.

    Which one?

    new gat paintball or airsoft?
  20. thanks mpom. I've read the reviews of the rifle on the truthaboutguns, range365 and tacticallife - but did not come across the one for gun-tests. I'll be on the look-out for it. I tend to do a lot of reading before I buy.
  21. Sorry for reviving an old thread. Was wondering if anyone else had some trigger time behind the ruger precision rifle in 6.5. I have been thinking about picking one up when I see a deal - just haven't come across any yet.
  22. I've been running a vortex Sparc I on my PCC. Picked one up on sale at PSA paired with a blem lower before the Sparc II came out. I've been happy with it so far.
  23. awesome - enjoy your new M2 when it comes back. I sold my JM Pro for a TTI M2 and haven't looked back.
