Thank you. I was confused as this is marked as a match that goes from March 2-4 on USPSA website. -

So obviously the old general rule of thumb is to not monopod off of the magazine. But we all end up doing it and it doesn't cause a lot of issues. My method is to come straight down and to lean into the rifle which pushes the bottom of the mag to the rear. This seems to cause less drag on the mag body itself and I was taught to lean into the rifle while using bipods. However, I would like to know how other people perform this task.

I have very minor astigmatism that can be corrected by my glasses. It isn't as fuzzy as some describe, but I don't see fine dots either.

I use Federal, PMC and Freedom (new) for my factory ammo. No issues so far.

Full length dust cover and full rail single stack USPSA allowed?
Gunnar replied to Gunnar's topic in 1911-style Pistols
So no revision that was made this year? 2014 is the most current rule for this and it stands as written? That stinks.... Thank you. -
It is difficult to say as I have used thousands of rounds of Hornady steel match and my rifle upon inspection still has original factory tolerances. However, it is correct that on match grade chambers, the Tula or Wolf steel ammo were causing malfunctions. I also don't like how the cheap steel cased ammo has difficult time being stripped off the magazine.

I am also working Stage 10 for WSC so if you are that far out for some reason or shooting it, I should have it on site. -

Do the lights and laser have to be mounted on the weapon or can we use headlamps? -

I have the Hornady cleaner, but I use Lyman solution because it is available at my local gun shop. I have tried to make homemade mixtures as recommended online, but it really doesn't seem to work very well compared to the Lyman solution. I have used almost a gallon of the Hornady solution and not sure it was any different, but haven't used it in quite some time. Would I invest into this again? I am not really seeing big enough difference. Also, unless you have the large tub version like I have, it would take forever to clean batches of brass. YMMV.
