i had the same observation as you had, although i swapped the rods because i want to feel the difference in transition, gun is long and wide dc. i felt the difference in weight right away, gun is tracking the same

for limited 40 cal to make major. you can use 9mm for minor scores. 9mm will score major in open guns though

john said about the trigger needed some breaking in, like a lot of dry fire. john also said to use grease instead of lube in the hammer/sear engagement area. and loosening the seating screws helps too...
