  1. I've been running the BBI 130 .358 bullets and Universal Clays in my .38 short colt load. I don't remember the load off the top of my head but it is right around 130-135 PF. I've shot a couple of steel matches so far with no leading. Anything smaller than .358 ended up being 'minute of berm' out of my 627.
  2. Try Gunstop in Minnetonka. http://www.gunstop.com/
  3. A day late but....happy birthday Mike! Did you at least get to treat somebody as a hostile witness, or whatever you lawyers do for fun?
  4. Bitch. Business is looking better this year so the odds are good I will be available for your guy's entertainment.
  5. Hell, I'm just hoping to be able to shoot a little more this year. If I make it to any majors, all the better.
  6. Randy, thanks for all that you've done for the industry and shooting sports. Now enjoy your spare time. You've earned it!
  7. We're safe. Cliff's already stated he's not doing it. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97211 Maybe! I think Dave Moss is going, if he goes Cliff will go too. That will be worth watching, trust me! The History Channel will never know what hit them.

  9. For the last 8 years I've run a 4-wheeler with a blade. Works great and I have two 50 yard driveways on my property plus I usually have to clean out the cul-de-sac after the county is done doing their part. There's times a blower may work better but no complaints using a blade. I did rescue a 25 year old walk behind blower from my mom's place that I am trying to bring back from the dead. If successful, it could come in handy in some situations.
  10. I've been meaning to ask you where you can get any true RN (lead are ok) for .44's. All I can seem to find, at least locally, are truncated bullets or HP's. I've been meaning to try my 629 with specials but can't find the bullet I want.
  11. I tried the dremel method but got impatient quickly and now just stick em in a mill with a carbide endmill. I just crank up the RPM's for the final cut and then use a little scotch-brite to take out any remaining tool marks. (it's nice to have machine tools available)

Congrats from Canada. Cliff! There can't be a silver bullet left in Sin city!

I'm out. I just cancelled my room reservation. Kind of a long way to drive without a slot and I haven't been getting much shooting in to be ready for it anyway. Hopefully next year. And, please, no camera's around Cliff this time. OK?
  16. While ROing it was humbling to watch shooters tear down stage 5 after I thought I had a good run on it. The most memorable shooter for me on stage 5 was our very own JP and his short barreled flame thrower. Oh, and .308's break stuff. I thought we were going to run out of targets while Eddie was shooting.
  17. I think it's pretty safe to say that ALL of the MN shooters are proud of Tyler! He deserves it! (at least now we have an excuse when he beats us) The verbal abuse will still continue, however.
  18. I'm just surprised that some disturbed individual hasn't made one of the pics into an avatar, yet.
  19. ouch, ouch, ouch, my brain just melted and ran out of my ear. Wow, that's amazing Exactly. I couldn't take it. I had to stop at the :45 second mark.
  20. Shooting groundhogs around my property is damn near all the shooting I've been doing this year. They started digging under my newly refurbished barn and shed, again. The subsonic .22 Quik-shok worked amazingly well, especially since my house is only two miles from the county courthouse. I haven't had one take a single step after getting hit with one of those. DRT. I did have one surprise me as I was mowing and all I had handy was my Kahr PM9 loaded with Cor-bon DPX. Kind of wished I had the shot timer to check 1st shot from the pocket holster. Stay safe in Afghanistan!
