  1. I don’t aim, I just use the Force as evidenced by my scores in the State match... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. After ruining a brand new Clymer throat reamer on one melonited barrel a few years ago, I stated having my own carbide reamers made. It cuts easier, faster and takes a lot longer to wear out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. There were several other loads, including my 115gr coated RN, that would stick as well. This one just so happens to be my control for chamber checking. It will chamber fine in a JP barrel and Wilson Arms barrel, but most others have issues. If you like loading long to match your open pistol load, you will likely have to ream it. 5. Maybe they do now, but ours were purchased right after they started making them so I don’t know if they have addressed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’m not sure if this is still the case, but my team bought 6 last year and every one of them needed to be reamed to run longer loads or to run projectiles with an ogive like these: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That one will work fine as it has the little “fingers” needed to fit the nut. I have taken off a few already to ream the barrels, and I don’t remember loctite on any of them as they were easy to remove with the wrench and proper vise receiver adapter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. ^^This right here! You can do your second one in 15 mins with a dremel, after you’ve spent an hour learning where to grind on your first! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. You’re right, that wasn’t one word, it was 13. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Right after I had my right shoulder reconstruction I competed in action pistol events using a borrowed left handed holster and carried my mags in my right hand in the sling. It was excellent practice and I succeeded in not coming in last. When I had my left shoulder rebuilt a couple years later I shot one-handed and it dramatically improved my pistol skills. I even shot a rimfire tactical 2-gun match and managed to win shooting pistol and rifle with one arm. Thankfully my rifle was very light! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Fair enough, but then it’s not a chamber flag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m just the opposite. I can see a chamber flag and know there can be no round chambered because the flag is in the chamber, but a holstered pistol doesn’t tell me anything, and we have to assume it’s empty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ahh, yours had the same kind of deformation and was able to be saved? If so, I’ll just mill off the section you did and try to straighten the tip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Then the rule should be changed because it is dumb for PCC. If pistols also required a chamber flag, then I’d support the same rules, but since they don’t, and we already flag the chamber to show clear, this is a time wasting step that unnecessarily complicates the show clear process. 15. I’m using a Hiperfire 24c with it and it has run 100%. It even popped a primer that got seated backwards. What trigger are you using? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I still don’t know what happened, but last Friday I was practicing for a match the next day when the rifle stopped going bang. Checked the round in the chamber and no dent in the primer, cocked the bolt again and no bang. Pulled out the Taccom bolt and checked for. Broken firing pin and found this instead: It almost looks like the tip was grabbed by a tool and twisted, but it was never out of the bolt after I received it, so I’m at a loss to figure it out. I was shooting reloaded ammo, so the only idea I had was that maybe they somehow used a small rifle primer by mistake, but I seriously doubt they would be hard enough to do that to a firing pin. Anyone seen anything like this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My Steel Challenge load is 3.7gr TG with a 115gr. 1000fps 115pf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. PCCO is started from the shoulder with the barrel aimed at the low ready pin. No draw involved. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This seems so silly considering you have to hold it open to show clear before flagging, and if they are worried about a cocked internal hammer, opening the bolt to now flag it after pulling the trigger will recock the hammer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’ve never needed a ramped barrel on any of my PCC lowers, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I’ve never had a feeding problem caused by that bolt or barrel. The only feeding problems I have had were from changing my load’s OAL without first checking to make sure it fed correctly in my big sticks. Oops. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, but only if you run the Taccom bolt that is cut for ramped barrels. If you run a JP bolt you will need to either cut the bolt for the ramp or buy a non-ramped barrel. Using a JP bolt with a Taccom ramped barrel leaves a nasty dent in the ramp as my buddy discovered. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. They are 5.25” plus shroud if memory serves. You can use your normal production loads and get the same power factor out of the PCC. There’s no comp, and it’s anything but quiet so no worries about the timer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. The JP barrel is heavy! If I went with that barrel I would turn it down on a lathe to save weight. I personally have gone away from full length barrels for Steel Challenge and USPSA, and only use a long barrel for PCC specific matches with targets at distances longer than 50 yards. The Taccom ULW barrel gives me faster transitions and is dead nuts accurate at my sight-in distance of 17 yards. While doing some load development I found my SC load delivered a 5-shot group that was so tight I thought I completely missed the target with the next 4 shots. All 5 rounds went into a round hole just under .45” which means the group was actually .1”! I highly recommend the Taccom ULW barrels for action pistol PCC class matches! 25. I’ve fallen in love with The North Face trail running shoes. They are super light, have vibrant soles, waterproof, and have an awesome cleat that gives traction in any condition https://www.thenorthface.com/shop/mens-ultra-mt
