  1. I would normally shoot limited and PCC every match, but a few months ago I got tendinitis to the point I couldn't really grip the pistol well enough to shoot without massive discomfort. I probably should have taken some time off, but I just switched to PCCO/RFRO full time. I am still sore during/after matches, but not nearly as bad. May be slow to heal, but at least I'm still shooting. Guess I'll find out when I start shooting limited again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Nope. I run coated lead in mine and every other match or so I dig out enough lead to make a full projectile. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The screw holding the trigger onto the adjustment bar broke on my buddy's Calvin Elite this weekend. His gun was instantly down for the day since the screw sheared off inside the trigger. Based on seeing that, I'm sticking with my Hiperfire 24C that has no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ah, ok. I misunderstood what you were saying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Haha, that was what I posted for mine because I'm cheap, but this mount is a better solution. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No, the trigger blade sits on a bar that allows the blade to move fore and aft by loosening a Torx screw. You can see if in the picture if you look closely. We didn't make any changes to my buddy's, but it looks super simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, I have one. I shot it for a few months before moving it to my S&W15-22 and getting the Hiperfire 24C which I much prefer. Faster reset, lighter trigger pull, shorter break- all good things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Shop sound. My buddy got his from Rainier Arms for around $240. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Use the American Defense Cmore mount and it will solve your problem. Here's a great review from Aircooled6racer: http://forums.brianenos.com/topic/247896-c-more-railway-mounts-for-pcc/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Accuracy is very impressive with these ULWs. Before I got mine I saw my buddy put 5 rounds into a clover leaf from a bag at 25yds. Between the light swing weight and that kind of accuracy I was immediately sold on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Mine has the aluminum shroud. I can send it back to you, no problem. It's weird because at least two other guys are running the exact loads (all loaded by the same guy) with their ULWs, without problem. They are poly coated 100gr round nose with a short, fat shoulder loaded to 1.085". I was guessing mine didn't get reamed since this projectile loaded to this length also sticks in most PCC barrels and is right at the edge of tolerance for S&W M&P9 barrels (I have one that fits and one that sticks sometimes). 13. Timney said it is one of only two of their triggers that are 100% PCC compatible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Is anyone having problems with a shorter throat in their Taccom ULW upper? My 100gr loads stick in the leade every time, but the same loads run fine in two of my friends' ULW uppers. I'm about to ream mine but thought I'd see what everyone else has experienced before I go through the extra effort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My buddy got one for his PCC a few weeks ago and he loves it. I shot it last Sunday, and it is definitely a lighter trigger than my Hiperfire 24C, but I was getting ready to shoot a stage and didn't have enough time to check the reset and travel in comparison. 16. I shot my first Steel Challenge in March of this year with PCC, and was instantly hooked. In April I added RFRO as well, starting with a heavily modified 10/22 that I'd been using for a couple years in our club's rimfire tactical matches. I quickly discovered that I needed a longer fore end to be able to stop on a dime and not overshoot my transitions. This was my starter rig: In May I shot the World Speed Shooting Championships with a borrowed Volquartsen rifle in a Boyd's thumbhole stock. I finished middle of the pack which I thought wasn't too bad for my second ever RFRO match, but I learned a lot. One thing I learned is that this stock is heavier than I like and holding the fore end that protrudes below the barrel with a big gap between it and the barrel felt odd. Here's the stock: After that event I pretty much knew what I didn't want, and went back to PMACA to try their multi chassis with extended carbon handguard. It worked out perfectly, letting me get my hand all the way out to the end where I have maximum control, like on an AR15. It worked so well I won my first and only NSSF rimfire shoot with it (and my modded Ruger MKIII 22/45). I was happy, but I still wasn't shooting as well as I could. One of the guys I shoot with suggested dumping my $35 Black Friday special Amazon red dot for a C-more RTS, so we did some first shot comparisons with a timer and he was clearly right. I bit the bullet getting the RTS and haven't looked back. My current rig: The next match I won my first SC overall and made GM in the process. I went on to win RFRO in two of the next 3 matches, with my only loss being a (distant) second place finish to Trenton Mitsuoka, but since he's a world champ I don't feel too bad about it! Anyway, I may not have a ton of SC experience under my belt (8 matches), but I've learned a lot in that time and would highly recommend the rig that's worked for me: PMACA Multi Chassis Extended Carbon Fiber Handguard Tac Sol Ultralight barrel (I think mine has been replaced by the X-ring series) Kidd trigger upgrade kit with 1.5lb spring Factory Ruger 10/22 bolt reworked by Que at Rimfire Central C-more RTS 6moa red dot sight AR15 carbine length buffer tube MFT Ultralight Carbine stock Custom fit MFT cheek riser Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Here's my girlfriend's build shooting 100gr RN coated over 4grains of Bullseye. Her gun is running the stock ATI bolt with the weight removed, a carbine spring and 3oz buffer. It moves very little with double and triple taps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I watched Kolby shoot a stage at the World Speed Shooting Championships and couldn't believe how fast he shoots an iron sighted rifle. Trenton Mitsuoka set a RFRO record time that match, and Kolby was even faster and was shooting Iron sights! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I sent an email yesterday and they just sent me the parts today. Email seems to be the hot ticket. Thanks everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. That would require them to call back since they don't answer the phone, and have not returned my messages. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The O-rings all shredded when the buffer came apart. Only one stayed on, but was torn up badly. This one has nearly 10k rounds on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So my JPSCS9 blew out during a match the weekend before last, and I need some help finding a replacement part. I found the O-rings are the same as for a faucet, but the retaining ring has been hard to find. Before you say to call JP, I've already left messages and called several times with no luck, so I'm done waiting on them. I'm trying to find this retaining ring: Anyone know where to find one? I also noticed some rounding of the channel edge where the ring sits and wondered if anyone else has had this issue: Thanks for your help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. No weight listed that I can see. For that price it better be at least 4oz lighter than a NFA lower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I love the shoe. It keeps my finger centered on the bottom spot for consistency in trigger pull. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. It's heavy, huge and block so much in your peripheral vision that it is slower from target to target. Try a C-more Railway and you'll understand instantly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
