  1. It hasnt pulled out yet. I was considering something similar like dimpling it and reinstalling the screw. I don't think it should take much to hold it in place. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  2. I'll try and snap a picture tonight when I get home to help explain.
  3. Do you ever shoot weak hand only? That is my main reason for using them. It gives my thumb a reference point of where it shoud be and makes sure my meaty hands dont nudge the safety up. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  4. If you have an REI (I think I remember seeing them at Cabelas too) nearby, I would also take a look at the Saucony Peregrine series in whatever variant they have. I think the 8 replaced the 7 last month, but both fit almost identically to me. The tread is aggressive, but they sit lower making them more stable than the Salomons.
  5. That's really personal preference to how you want your gun timed to your ammo. In my limited guns I use a 17lb hammer spring and stuck to that because I was able to get a trigger I liked and I knew that it would set off darn near any primer I put in the gun. For the recoil springs I ended up at a 12 lb recoil spring, but I fooled around with 11-14lb springs to see what I liked. I tested these individually in both guns and was surprised to find that I liked the same weights in both guns since one has fairly radical slide cuts and one has none. This was with 180gr ammo at 172 power factor. In my .45 SS gun, I stuck with the 17lb hammer spring (I think, could be a 19 as I don't shoot it much) and a 14lb recoil spring for 230gr ammo at about 174 power factor.
  6. Gorilla brand duct tape, while expensive, is really good at anchoring down raised fault lines. We usually use 2-3 strips for every 5-6 foot stick (targets sticks serve double duty). For fixed size shooting boxes, we use PVC piping and joints which are getting pretty beat up, although they have been in use for 3+ years.
  7. Is there a reason Dillon didn't put a threaded hole in the casefeed mount to secure the casefeeder? Mine keeps coming loose and its pulling the threaded boss out of the plastic casefeeder. It hasn't really been an issue, but its starting to move more and more now and I am likely going to have to have Dillon replace it soon.
  8. Will be following this. When my stock of WST dries up I plan on switching because I am already using it as my .40 major powder of choice and want to consolidate to less types if I can. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  9. I loaded a batch of "not dry yet" cases a couple of weeks ago and had the same issues. .40 Major load using a 180 had a high velocity of 993 and low of 518... Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  10. I can start with 21+1 using the new sti tubes, grams guts, and tti 4g2 pads. They reload effortlessly with 20, 21 will seat but is super tight. They are TIGHT in the gauge, but legal. I dont think 22 is going to happen with a legal mag. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Tapatalk
  11. Nope, it was the spring inside the trigger shoe. Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

The factory Maxxtech ammo doesnt even come close to making power factor either. Through a glock 17, it was around 110 to 115 pf. This stuff doesn't belong anywhere near a uspsa range... Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk
  13. I appreciate the info. What charge weight did you start at and is the any particular reason you load at 1.165? Sent from my SM-T230NU using Tapatalk
  14. Somewhat unrelated, but where are you finding load data for Prima SV? Sent from my SM-T230NU using Tapatalk
  15. I have no idea what your grip looks like, but it could be the cause of #2 and #3. If your grip is high, you might bump the slide lock under recoil which could either lock the slide back prematurely or keep the slide lock from engaging when it should. I personally have given up on the slide locking back on empty [emoji14] Sent from my SM-T230NU using Tapatalk
