  1. Probably would make light dimmer than using regular batteries. You need to label your gun case to turn off Optics when finished.
  2. Has anyone had hands on experience using the Lee App press to decap 9mm?
  3. Wet tumbling requires depriming first. That way the primer pocket gets cleaned as well.
  4. Those lines appear to be a result of steel cases wearing on the steel funnel. Take a magnet and check the cases you are loading for steel plated brass cases. Xtream has been selling these as brass. Not sure why they would do so but they are trouble.
  5. Hi, try stainless steel guide rods.
  6. I'm looking for an accurate load for my new X5 that makes IDPA power factor or better. I have blue bullets of 124, 135 and 147gr. at (.355 and .356) and a good selection of powders. The barrel is stock. Thanks for your input.
  7. Does anyone have a good load for their X5 using 147 blue bullets and sport pistol?
  8. Yea I got one coming tomorrow from Top Gun. There not holding out for the NRA Convention. But I have a sneaking suspicion that Grey Guns is so that they will have inventory for the show.
  9. Is the cost of a Bar Stow gunsmith fit barrel and related expenses worth the cost over the factory barrel accuracy wise? Thanks for your response.
  10. Is your powder charge and AOL consistent? How much crimp are you using and is it consistent. I would say run ten rounds and check everything.
  11. Are you using the FA pins or something else? Because I've never seen pins stuck in 9 mm brass. They look short to me.
  12. Haven't found any pins in the brass so far.
  13. I recently got a wet dry media seperator from Frankford Arsenal that does a great job. You dump the wet brass and pins from the drum and fill it 3/4 way with water. The water rinses the brass and also removes the pins. The pins end up In the bottom pan and to strain the water from the pins the top has two strainers in it to drain the water off.
  14. What are you using to separate them from the brass?
  15. I to have given up on the Fime Group & Arex. I owned the Alpha 1 week never shot it and sent it back to the dealer. The day I decided to purchase the gun I contacted both Arex and Fime to inquire as to what the factory recoil spring weight and dementions were and if there were optional ones available for reduced power loads. A simple request you might think but these guys acted as if I were asking them to share top secret company information. Really, after having emailed both parties several times with out replies and calling Arex company and getting no answer I gave up. Fime Group couldn't even get the answers to my questions from Arex. So after having worked in the retail market and having good customer service drilled in to me. I decided that with out customer support I would take my money elsewhere. My last email was to both parties expressing my dissatisfaction and telling them I was returning all merchandise purchased from them because they appeared not to give a crap loosing a new customer.
  16. Yes it is the new Allient powder developed for pistol loads been on the market 2 years.
  17. With that said, Jeff do you have an accurate load for the Alpha?
  18. Can you please tell me what weight bullets shoot the most accurate and what the approximate velocity is? I am planning to leave the gun stock don't want to tinker with it. But do reload ammo.
  19. I'm looking for someone in the DE, PA or MD area that owns or knows of a dealer who has this pistol in stock. Would like to feel the grip and see it before I purchase. Also if you have any load data you would like to share and what guide rod and recoil spring you are using. I will be shooting IDPA production. Thanks, Paul Tuley 302-943-8123
  20. Can anyone give me an update on the Rex Alpha with regard to tested loads, after market recoil guide rods and springs. I plan on shooting IDPA matches with it. Thanks
  21. I'm looking into purchasing a new IDPA match gun. There are two guns I'm considering either the CZ accu shadow or the new Walther Q5 SF Pro. Not knowing the CZ product but having owned a Q5 I can't make an informed decision about either gun. Any input would be helpful in my decision to purchase either. Thanks
  22. Are all the bullets the same diameter? Might check that, will definitely effect accuracy.
