  1. That's strange. I've called several times and I've only had to wait a couple minutes at the most. Hopefully someone will chime in here shortly!
  2. I picked up a Fire TV stick for $24. That was the only sale item that even slightly interested me.
  3. Bullets out has been gaining popularity lately because it tends to be more consistent as you reach further and further back past 9 o'clock. This can vary greatly, though, based on body shape, for example. In Limited and Open, it's easier for many to put the mags at an angle, like thermobollocks said, When you sweep your hand down toward your belt, the mag is in the perfect orientation. And as you sweep your arm back toward 9 o'clock, all your mags are at the same angle, relative to your arm. It may look and seem strange, but it works.
  4. Orientation depends on the division you're shooting. Are you asking about Production?
  5. Good to know. Unfortunately it's too late. I listed it for sale today and already have a few people lined up to buy it.
  6. I picked up a 4 inch PPQ M2 last week. The ergonomics take a little getting used to and the trigger is fantastic, but it shoots about 5" high for me at 7yds. I don't think I want to devote the time or money to replacing the sights, so I think I'm going to let it go.
  7. I'm using a DAA (standard) adjustable thumb rest and a DAA Race Master holster.
  8. I worked on rearranging my work/reloading bench this weekend. I've still got some work to do, but I like the new setup. I use Patmarlins ROCKDock for my 2 presses, since I use the bench for working on other things besides reloading.
  9. Same exact issue as in your vid. You switched to K40's and have not had an issue? What is your OAL? 1.125" OAL with no troubles.
  10. I had the same issue running long (1.180" OAL) .40 in 10mm Triangle-T mags. See video here: https://youtu.be/YyNDIJIug0o I tried a buddy's K40 mag and it fed factory length ammo perfectly. Exile Machine has them for $21.65 each plus shipping: https://www.exilemachine.net/shop/mag-eaa-wit-40sw-15rd-ful-stl-pol-64246.html
  11. A friend of mine uses one in CCP and has been successful in winning a couple local matches overall with it.
  12. You can zero the gun no matter where the sights are currently aligned. Just adjust them until the sight picture is where you want in relation to the position of the bullet impact.
  13. There are IDPA matches the 3rd Sunday and 4th Saturday of every month at ERGC, just north of Pensacola. (http://gulfcoastgunforum.com/showthread.php?28303-Matches-in-July-the-19th-and-25th) There is USPSA north of Mobile, AL every 1st and 3rd Saturday, but this month they are having a regular match on July 18th and a classifier match on July 25th. (http://www.mpsa.us/) There is also a USPSA match in Biloxi, MS this Saturday, the 11th.(http://smsps.com/about-us/bpsa-information/) Let me know if you need any additional info.
  14. It might be a couple months before I make it to another IDPA match, but I will definitely bring it the next time I do.
  15. I don't have any experience with TiN, but Micro Slick can wear pretty quickly. This is on a Rem 700 bolt after cycling it about 100 times.
  16. I suppose it depends on the match and the particular stages, but I've shot a few different types of multi-gun matches and I've never felt the need for one. IMO, you'd be better suited with a smooth handguard that allows you to "c-clamp" it to the barricade wherever is most advantageous.
  17. I built a ASA side charge upper a while back and I didn't care for it. The main reason was because it didn't have a forward assist and the charging handle is non-reciprocating so you can't use that. I like to have a forward assist, whether it be for easing a round into the chamber on a hunting rifle or making sure the bolt is in battery after checking to make sure a round is in the chamber on a competition rifle. I can certainly see the benefit of a side charger on a rifle with a large scope, but I would stay away from ASA.
  18. Welcome, Brian! What part of FL are you in?
  19. I've been using 147gr X-Treme PLRN over 3.2gr of Titegroup. I can't remember the OAL off the top of my head, but it runs about 131PF.
  20. Hmm. I don't believe I'm over-crimping, but I'll definitely check into it. Thanks!
