  1. I know it isn't the point of the thread overall but you are wrong about your definition of malware (malicious code) and viruses. As I stated previously, viruses are a type of malware. According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-83, "Guide to Malware Incident Prevention and Handling", a Virus is defined: A form of malware that is designed to self-replicate make copies of itself and distribute the copies to other files, programs, or computers ( ). Wikipedia agrees that viruses are malware, "Malware includes computer viruses, ransomware, worms, trojan horses, rootkits, keyloggers, dialers, spyware, adware, malicious BHOs, rogue security software, and other malicious programs; the majority of active malware threats are usually worms or trojans rather than viruses. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malware ). " While I am unsure about many things that I post here this is an area where I have high confidence in the accuracy of my response.
  2. No issue with that. Where you said 3s I was assuming that was for 4 not 8.
  3. Link for the OP's video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h7LVp09uKOU
  4. Malware is the broad category. Viruses are a type of malware.
  5. Did you open up your loading port? As for times I think anything at or below blow 8 in 6 seconds is good. One round per second used to be the old standard. 4 Seconds is very fast. A few pros are under 4 on YouTube videos but not sure whether it's something that they can do at a match reliably without the benefit of multiple takes.
  6. PM me the link and I will post it. What is your time for 8? That seems like a better Benchmark.
  7. I use the MOE. Added the MagPul extended recoils pad as well to length it a bit.
  8. Loctite on the break? Mine came loose at the last match.
  9. It's very challenging to stop at "good-enough-for-now." It left my least match emotional divided between selling all my 3 Gun gear the that night to buying a new shotgun as soon as possible. After a little time settling down I decided to try to address my mental issues, practice a bit more, and be satisfied with the gear I have... for now.
  10. The point is that as you said this has all been a result of panic buying. There has been no law passed or action taken by a government agency that has put us where we are today. We did this to ourselves. Not saying lawmakers have not tried. That has been a market force in the equation to be sure.
  11. How did you come to this conclusion? Does everyone within the proximity of DC have their head in the sand? There has been panic buying since a certain party took control of DC. Just because you are in the DC area doesn't mean you necessarily voted for the party in office. That is why I live in Virginia and not DC or MD. Head in the sand? The problem has so far had nothing to do with the Government and everything to do with what has so far been unreasonable and unrealized fear of government action. The problem here is a very simple issue from economics 101 called the law of supply and demand.
  12. At least it is starting to get a little better. Just walked out of a pretty well stocked Walmart with 300 12 guadge shells with plenty to spare left for the next guy. I also have 1,000 rounds of .223 that should be showing up in a day or two that I was able to pick up at a reasonable price. About the only thing I never see is 22nd. 32lb of Titegroup? Thanks like 32lb of gold! I had to grab n320 as a substitute when I saw it available at PV. PV had my brand of primers in a few weeks back and I don't need any primers right now. I had them added to the cart but reason took over and I canceled. I have enough to last me for awhile without going overboard.
  13. How did you come to this conclusion? Everybody is afraid they want to take away our guns and ammo so panic buying is still the rule of the day.I definitely agree with that. I put that more in the category of fear of government as the cause versus government being the cause. For me I think I noticed things starting to get bad in mid 2007 in anticipation of someone like Obama coming into office. It has only gotten worse since then.
  14. Make sure you don't already have a saves profile for it. If there is then delete it and try pairing again. I assume you are searching for devices in the bluetooth menu on your phone when you enter "send" mode?
  15. You need to go into settings after selecting the timer mode
  16. P.S. I had never had more than 4lb of powder in my life until it became scarce. Now I stockpile whenever I can so I can ensure I have it when I need it. I am confident the shortage has caused similar action by others which is, in my opinion, the majority of the availability issues which we now see. Yes, I am part of the problem.
  17. IBTL! Definitely a massive government conspiracy to keep all of the hand loaders unarmed as a form of gun control... Really? Did you just imply that? Guess you are not familiar with the FAR and requirements for transparency in Government purchases. Plus is NSA can't keep it's Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information out of the news then how could a conspiracy like this escape leaks from the Powder Industry or from inside the Government. Having worked for many years in Washington I can say with certainty that the Government (Congress aside) is not the underhanded, privacy insensitive, overlord that most today seem to make it out to be. The overwhelming majority of Government employees share your values for freedom and are good people trying to do their best to serve this country and its people. Not sure why that is so hard to believe. Maybe listen to Infowars a bit less.
  18. The WRS is the one that a lot of 3gun shooters are using but it doesn't look like they make it for the TS. http://shop.blade-tech.com/level-duty-holster-c-1_4_7.html#.UzTcQXPD_qA
  19. Does the blade tech come in TS sizes? WRS or something?
  20. You can order from Amazon in the next 4 hours and have one there tomorrow. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00817CXNQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1395938425&sr=8-2π=SX200_QL40
  21. I don't think the coupler will satisfy the requirement. Honestly with 30 round rifle mags I wouldn't feel slow grabbing from my left rear pants pocket as opposed to the rifle pouch just above my left rear pants pocket. Wish I could help.
  22. You should be able to use an Apple charger provided that you are attaching a micro USB cable to it. I have various charges for my Android tablets or phones (which already charge with micro USB), my phone's car charger, or even my computer with success. I appreciate that the ShotMaxx uses the same charging standard as every other mobile device that I own.
  23. To my point about speed being relatively more important on high hit factor stages lets say that the next guy steps up and shoots 1 A and 9 Cs in 4 seconds. 41 points (assuming Major PF) divided by 4 seconds is a hit factor of 10.25.
