What is a good auto 22. And how accurate can an auto be? I would enjoy the auto a lot more. But am obsessed with accuracy.

I must not be a shooter then. Cause I typed several replies to that post and kept deciding not to submit. !!!!in fact the replies are still forming in my mind and none are shooting related.

Go to the IDPA website and look for the application - it describes the points. The rules section also describe match levels. I beleive the cut off date is may 31 of this year. So any matches you shoot this summer or fall count towards next years nationals.

Been wondering if it would be beneficial to dry fire with a revolver? It seems that would smooth your trigger out after a few weeks. Is there anyone that can attest to that or not?

When I started shooting I was dry firing a lot. I looked forward to doing it. But I ended up with tennis elbow from dry firing. So now I am able to start back and am trying to not get tenniss elbow again. Sometimes I can get caught up in a single drill for 30-40 minutes. If the elbow wasn't a concern I would be putting in a lot more dry fire time

I have also seen another hole drilled for the trigger spring to attach at a different angle - that seems to help.

Not new info. I think my trigger control is ok. Although a lot of folks suggest this is the area to improve. I will always work to improve my trigger mechanics, but I am certain that my "main" problem was patience. I was shooting before I had sights lined up. To wit, here is some freestyle shooting at 30 yards. Not great but not bad considering I can't really make out the a zone at that distance so am not necessarily aiming at a spot??

I'm interested on this as well. I have a nighthawk Talon and would like to improve the magwell one day?

i think it has to do with the neck dimensions and the SAAMI pressures. If you want ultra accuracy - you would want the chamber to match the cartridge I suppose...

If I ever shoot a match without a few 3 second additions, I will go straight to nearest gas station and buy a lottery ticket

Yeah - I didn't catch that he wasn't at slide lock. It's still fast. It would be pretty cool to do that in my local IDPA match one day:)

Now - he is definitely not set up for IDPA. Haha. But he has the gun back on target before the mag even hits the floor. That's ridiculous

i saw a video on youtube - no timer but tomasie (spelling?) - it looks like a 1911 but cant tell if it is wide body or single stack....fastest reload i have ever seen! I think if you search fastest 1911 reload or something you can find it.....

I removed the extended release lever after a while. I found my grip was keeping it slightly disengaged and my slide would lock back when I ran empty.

When I slap the mag in - it bumps the mag release and the slide goes into battery without me touching the mag release lever.

My g34 auto releases when I insert mag. I love that! It didn't start doijg that until I had 1000+ rounds through it.

How do boobs slow you down? My experience has always been that pace increased when boobs were involved:)
