  1. Sights, magwell and probably trigger components- oh and recoil spring.
  2. Man- I don't know. As they are right now, they don't fit the box. So I would have to do all kinds of work grinding on all 18 of them to fit. Then they will be a funky angled pad. I will be trading Cooter79 for 7 standard length ones and test them against the longer ones to see for sure. But as of now I don't forsee a problem as I am getting a solid "seat" everytime. I may just cut down the extended ones to .450-.500" and call it good.
  3. Well I am finally getting the Spartan where I like it. It is still a work in process, but what gun isn't! How I got it: How it is today: I would still like to get a SV Infinity trigger and narrower Dawson fiber front sight. But it is pretty close to being completed. I will be testing out the trigger along with the overall weight this weekend. The trigger feels waaay better now and breaks really clean. Feels lighter to boot! I find that I am able to seat mags with the standard .350" basepads just fine so I will probably be selling the extended ones I just bought!
  4. "They" say that just about everwhere I have lived...
  5. Here in Wisconsin we can get pretty humid and I have had all my loading equipment and components in the garage with no problems for the last 4-5 years. My garage is heated, but my loading bench and components are on the opposited side of the garage from the baseboard heating element. I think you should be ok- otherwise just store your components indoors. But I am sure it would be adviseable to keep the powder and primers separate....and free from static electricity. Good luck and welcome to the world of reloading!
  6. Well there ya go bud, you just gotta get an Open gun to improve your shooting!
  7. Yup- caught that a few minutes too late! Good news travels fast!
  8. Just got the word from Matt on a cool win. WTG Matt! http://www.sirwaltergunclub.com/result1.htm#o6
  9. Thanks for the link- there definitely needs to be more!! Very nice footage.
  10. Aaah the 'ol metal bands! I miss 'em. What I liked about Iron Maiden was the storyline type lyrics..there is some actual content in there! This was one of my all time favs growing up- Eddie rocks! And I can't believe that there are people just discovering Metallica!
  11. Way to go Bill- keep the role of "observer" while you shoot and you will be amazed at what you learn and see!
  12. Cooter has been working on the weakhand's relationship concerning the grip for sometime. But until I got him to start dryfiring it was tough for him to get that nailed down. So I think improvement have been made since his last post. He is in an RO class this weekend- and is getting overwhelmed with "knowledge"! But he has come a long way in a short time, just not realizing it.
  13. Thanks for the update Michael- I too would have to pay an arm and a leg to view your shows with our service provider. Maybe you would consider charging a membership for online viewing of your episodes? Now that would be cool!
  14. Very nice- thanks for posting.

    Skiing

I haven't went skiing since I was serving in the military. I was on deployment and took a trip into the Alps. Had a blast!
  16. I have decided to stay out of the indoor shooting facilities, partially do to this concern. I suck at shooting indoors anyway!
  17. I have used it and will be using it more when I return to Limited. I will be shooting it in SS exclusively.
