  1. Leezway, how did you cut the foam?
  2. I ended up pulling out my foam as well, and keep the guns in pistol rugs inside my pelican case. I can fit more in it that way. I like the cutouts shown, where the guns are NOT pointing in every direction when the case is opened.
  3. thanks, but that’s not really what I’m looking for. When I started shooting I used to keep a separate notebook for both of my guns and would update them after each range session. That lasted about a year. Right now I just want to track my trap gun as I’m having issues with light strikes on the bottom barrel. It started after about 500 rounds. I cleaned the gun, and I think I made the mistake of lubing the firing pins during reassembly, because the problem returned after about 1000 rounds. Started happening with Fiochhi shells, but then with Federal as well. This time I installed a J and P firing pin and spring kit and kept the pins dry. Now I want to keep track of rounds fired and ammo used to see if it happens again, and if so how long does it take. So, in reality what I want is a very simple spreadsheet or even just using the Notes app. But I was wondering if there was an app that did it. The Gun Log SPC app seems to do what I want, and a whole lot more, so I’ll play around with it until I see if there is something simpler around.
  4. Ugh, I “hate” you suppressor people! I am sooooo jealous, I can’t imagine how much fun it would be to have one on a .22 plinker like the P322. But, alas, we can’t have them in MA, so I am screwed for now. But one day, I hope to live in a free state where I can equip multiple guns with them.
  5. Lol, yup, except that it should be a pencil instead of a pen, so the ink doesn't freeze in the cold weather, and of course, the batteries won't die on you... But, I was hoping for a simple app to track rounds thru my new shotgun, and rounds between maintenance, etc.
  6. Just wondering if anyone is aware of any IOS apps that can be used to track a firearms usage. I’m mostly interested in some sort of logbook that lets you enter a Date, rounds fired, and notes. Similar to the many vehicle maintenance and gas mileage trackers already out there. I want to track rounds between cleanings, and parts replacements and things like that, as well as failures that occur so that if I start getting light strikes at the 5,000 round mark, I know to change springs at 4,000 rounds. Thanks.

    P322 Replacement Sights

no matter what, it still takes up some window real estate. I just don’t care for them on a range toy or my competition pistols. I have a 2nd P322 with iron sights if I want to shoot that instead.
  8. I’m definitely still loving mine, shot it all winter with very few issues, certainly no more than everyone else shooting bulk rimfire ammo. And I never really pay any attention to how I load the mags.
  9. Hi, just a thought, based on another forum I participate in. Your screen name appears in red because you’re an Admin/Moderator I presume. Mine is black, because I’m just a regular participating member. How about offering the option to have someone’s screen name appear in green or some other color to indicate they are a financial supporter of the forums? Those members could pay an annual fee, and would get no other benefits other than a different color screen name?? That keeps the forum as Brian intended, a free information exchange, available to all, while at the same time, recognizing the few members who think this site is worth $20-$30 a year?
  10. It may be time to think about an annual membership fee of anywhere between $10-$25. I don’t thank many people will have a problem with that. Or make it optional. Those that pay, get a moniker of some sort saying they are a member. Just a thought.
  11. Just wondering if anyone is running one of these triggers with a “-“ connector and Johnny Glock Vex shoe? If so, how do you like it? im intrigued by this combination, haven’t seen any reports of anyone swapping the connector for the minus version. I really like the idea of using a stock striker spring for reliability Across the varied primers I’ve had to buy, without it adding to the trigger pull.
  12. looking forward to seeing how the performance trigger works with a “-“ connector.
  13. isnt muzzle flip related more to your grip and how low the gun sits in your hand?
  14. I’ve got a G48 with an Apex trigger that I like a lot. For this one I put in a Ghost connector and left the stock trigger in it. I will re-evaluate the trigger after a few hundred rounds. If I do replace it, I will go with Apex.
  15. Lol, ok, so you don’t really want a “universal holster”, you just want one for the Walther PDP. Why do you want a race style holster? That takes you out of the Carry Optics and Production Divisions where that gun belongs. I’d be looking at BladeTech, CompTac, Red Hill Tactical, etc. something in a nice solid kydex holster. But that’s probably because I’ve never felt very comfortable with the fancy open gun rigs.
  16. what do you mean by “universal”? Are you looking for a holster that is legal across multiple Divisions? Or one that will work for multiple different guns? The CompTac Q Series and Safariland make holsters that fit multiple guns, but, IMO, you will be much better off getting a holster that was made specifically for your gun.
  17. Nice. The Classic is a much nicer holster than the Signature (IMO).
  18. So I got impatient waiting for feedback and ordered the Suarez, and Katana V3 to test out along with the Shield I already own. I decided against the Glockstore model because it looks to be identical to the Shield model with the same method of attachment, which I think is flawed. But, we’ll see.
  19. My bad, I guess I thought they were more durable. Now I feel like I need one!!
  20. So now I have to ask the question, why the heck do you need a BROS? It seems like a worthless piece of equipment to protect a red dot that doesn’t need it. The SRO is a Competition optic. If it breaks, Trijicon will fix it. There’s no reason to try and protect it with a BROS. It just doesn’t make sense.
  21. Are you sure you weren’t looking at their 2-belt options? They are selling 2 Beltre for $112, or just 1 for $60.
  22. Looking for a solid mounting magwell for my EDC G43X. I'm not so much interested in how great the funnel is to guide mags into the gun. I'm more interested in one that is relatively small, and is solidly attached such that when gripping the gun, the front of the magwell doesn't move downward too far. It seems they all move a little. I have a Shield Arms Carry Magwell on my G48, and it does a good job, but I'm wondering if there is another model out there that may be better. If anyone has any experience with the following, please chime in about it. The first 2 seem to be the ones I'm leaning towards: Empire Katana V3 Magwell https://empirepbf.com/products/the-katana-v3-for-g43x-48 Glockstore EDC Magwell https://www.glockstore.com/GS-Magwell-for-G43X-48 Others: - Suarez Gunfighter Magwell - Shield Arms Carry magwell - Tyrant Designs magwell - SLR Rifleworks G48 magwell - Steel City Ninex19 Enhanced magwell If you know of others out there that you like, let me know. Thanks, -Cuz
  23. I just got a Kore belt last week based on a friends recommendation. Too soon to tell for sure, but I think it’s going to be a winner.
  24. I added the Talon PRO grip wrap, and a Holosun 407K to mine. I'm shooting the crap out of mine with only a few failures to ignite, but I am shooting bulk crap ammo, so a couple of failures every 5 trips to the range is very acceptable.
