  1. I put a 5moa SRO on mine, it cost more than the gun.
  2. Last year I got a Carver extended stainless gen5 rod and ISMI springs at 11, 13, and 15 lbs. Today I ordered Carver’s Tungston uncaptured thick rod and a few different Wolff springs to go with it. I’ll see how I like the extra Weight. I also keep a Jentra captured as a spare.
  3. I'm still getting the rare upside down case, but I'm getting ready to automate the press so I imagine this will annoy me. Figured I'd give this a bump in case anyone has any new things to try...
  4. Interested in reading about how the work during a match and practice sessions.
  5. What Generation is your G34? My reloads chrono between 127-135 depending on which Glock I shoot them out of. My Gen5 G17 & 34 are the slowest and my Gen3 34 is the fastest. Maybe buying another gun is your answer if you never plan to reload.
  6. I recently (for the 2nd time), got about 50 rounds loaded before I realized I forgot to put primers in the tube. Duhh…
  7. Damn, I’ve done that too! Starting not to like this thread as much as I thought I would. It’s just getting started and already I’ve had 2 reminders of things I buried in the back of my mind and forgotten about.
  8. Yup, been there, done that, only once though.
  9. Right now it’s looking like Midsouth is the place for me, best price, and in stock.
  10. Since I’ve bumped this back in December, I bought 2, a regular model and a Competition SCR. They both run great, only issue some of us are experiencing is that it occasionally doesn’t pick up the second round from the mag and skips over it. We think it may be related to the McFadden loaders we are using to load mags. When we load mags by hand they work well, but we love those McFadden loaders so much we are going to exhaust every other possible issue before blaming them.
  11. Keep us informed if you do go that route. Always looking for more reviews and options for my Ruger PCC trigger.
  12. Thanks. If anyone is offering any discounts or sales for Memorial Day I’m going to pick up a Mark 7 for my press.

Nice. I just ordered one of those Comp-Tac holsters for my G48 and I was very impressed with it.
  14. I’d like to see some pics and possibly a short video of it in action. A review of your thoughts too. I’m having a hard time deciding between the Dillon or Mark7 auto drive for my RL1100. But, when you do send pics don’t let them show too much of your loading room setup. I get WAY too envious whenever I see pics of that setup. :)
  15. Hey George, sorry to bug you again, but do you have an auto drive on a Dillon press? Or a Mark 7 press that’s automated? Your pic clearly shows the speed at 1,000 rph, and I just got a response from Mark 7 a few minutes ago saying the slowest was 900 for an auto drive on the Dillon press. That’s interesting. Even the top speed on the 1050 Pro only goes to 2400 and your pic shows that it goes well past that.
  16. unfortunately that’s a bit disappointing to me. I don’t understand why there isn’t an option to run it in the 600-800 RPH range.
  17. Thanks George, But your pic shows the slowest speed at 1,000 RPH and not 100. Am I missing something?
  18. According to the current manual on their website, 900 rph is the slowest speed. can anyone confirm if the new firmware can go slower? I’m just wondering if George meant to type 1000 instead of 100.
  19. thanks, I think an old manual I downloaded some years ago had it at 1,000 rph. I don’t mind processing brass at the higher speeds but I’d like to run the loading pass at around 500-700 rph until I got comfortable, then bump it up to 900-1,000 and wouldn’t expect to go much over that.
  20. I'm not interested in actual reloading speed, just saving my shoulder from having to crank the handle. What is the slowest speed you can run the Mark 7 auto drive on an RL1100 press? Thanks.
