    Spare parts list

http://cajungunworks.com/spring_kits.html The TR-PIN is what I believe you are looking for.
  2. I have a few of these on the way. I am will test them out in my Accu-Shadow, SP-01 non shadow and my Rami then report back. I also got the rubber cz basepads to see if they will fit.
  3. Yeah, it sucks for both of us living in a restricted State. But having magazines that only hold 10 rounds has proven to reduce crime Haha yea.. Crime reduction and "safety." I was looking for more info and on http://www.mec-gar.com/ and it shows the 10rd .40 as a new product right on the home page. If you click the arrow on the right of that image it shows the 10rd 9mm as new.
  4. What are these? http://www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1496 http://www.mec-gar.com/Magazines/CZ/MGCZ7510/MGCZ7510B Damn, I didn't know they existed. Thanks for the link, doing more research now. I can't seem to find many sites selling part # MGCZ7510B. I'm guessing it is a relatively new item. I'm tempted to order some to test them out in my shadow.
  5. Hey there, The only 10 round CZ-75/Shadow magazines are factory OEM. Mec-Gar does not make them. Current market price is about $37 on Greg Cote LLC or CZ Custom. Link: http://www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=173&products_id=1427 The only aluminum base pads I know of are from CZ Custom for $38 bucks each. Link: http://czcustom.com/cz-aluminum-base_pad-10_round_standard.aspx You can see the OEM polymer basepads are larger than you would expect because the mag tube is chopped down. Cheers
  6. I'm glad it still feels good. I'm an STI noob so I can't speak to Brazos work.
  7. Thanks Youngeyes! Come on down to BPT. We do 2nd and 4th Tuesday nights. It is really fun and friendly with safety as the first priority. We try to get in 5 rounds of round robin then I break shooters into 3 classes and do double elimination. All I ask it to not shoot the plates with the Deagle. The steel thanks you. I wouldn't mind shooting it as some paper though.
  8. Connecticut checking in. Still bad all over. Cabelas had Varget one pounders for 30 bucks a few times in the past two months but besides that nothing but black powder and random rifle powders. I still get laughed at when I ask for Tightgroup or Solo 1000. I've been lurking on powdervalley & gunbot for the two mentioned as well at VVn320. Primers are back to normal stocks at a 5$ to 10$ bump at most shops that carry reloading supplies. Good luck to those on the hunt.
  9. The classified forums lists the requirements. It includes 50+ posts and explains not to bump your post count. This is a must read: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86559
  10. Much respect to STI for fixing it even with the ammo issue being disclosed. How does it feel compared to before the incident? Do you think it needs to be worked on to return to glory?
  11. Hey there! I am Dan from Fairfield/New Haven County in Connecticut. TY-80786. I have been lurking for a while trying to expand my knowledge base and have decided to be a more active member. I starting shooting competitions by doing plate rack shoots at Bridgeport shooting Range in 2012. I met some great folks that got me into SCSA and the Penn South-Eastern steel league. Living in CT I have to travel a lot and in the last two years I have shot steel at Lower Providence, Ontelaunee, Topton, Guthsville and Unami in PA for the 2013 steel league and SCSA at Old Bridge in NJ, Watervliet in NY, Harvard and New Bedford in MA and at Sig in NH. I also had fun with knockdown steel at the PSA shootout in PA and Walls of Steel at Wallum Lakes. My new passion is shooting USPSA. I first started at Monson, MA two years ago. This past season I became a regular at Rockville CT, and Hopkinton and Harvard in MA. I also did one match in Dutchess NY. My big trips were to Fredericksburg VA for the spring sectional and area 8. I also did area 7 this year at New Bedford MA and last year at Sig in NH. I am looking forward to the MD state championship in two weeks! Last spring I became the Bridgeport plate shoot match director. We just started our season this month and got about 25 guys. This off season I'm keeping busy with BPT Plates, indoor IDPA at BPT and Friday Night Plates at New Haven Sportsman's Club in Guilford when they do center fire pistol events. I eventually plan to get some more diverse guns to complete in New Haven's other Friday night plate events. I have become a big CZ fan after first getting an SP-01. I shot it for 9 months and then learned about Cajun Gun Works and did some home tweaking. I have since bought a CZC Accu-Shadow which is the only firearm I want to shoot for the foreseeable future. I love CZs so much I stopped carrying my Sig P229 and replaced it with a RAMI D worked over by CGW with their defensive carry package. Thanks To Brian and all the users on the forums that have been so helpful. I hope to see you on the range.
  12. CZUB lists the Shadow at 1180g while the 85c is 1000g. The shadow would handle recoil a little better but the decision is yours if twice the price is worth that improvement. One could argue your transitions would be better served with the 85. The 85 also lacks the firing pin block so the trigger can be tuned just as well as a shadow. My suggestions is to get both.
  13. Hey Fellas. I hope it is cool to ask my question about my accu-shadow front sight in this thread. I search the forums and the google and came up empty, I bought an accu-shadow last fall in 2013 and wanted to replace the front sight with a thinner Dawson because I prefer the sight picture from my non-shadow SP-01 with the CGW's EZ Drift sights installed which are .095. I'm unsure of the depth of my front sight dovetail. Dawson has both .060 deep (listed for CZ 75 Shadow and SP-01) and .085 deep (list for CZ 85 Combat, Kadet 22, B Series, and CZ 75 Tactical Sport). From the comments above I've determined that a .215 tall height is ideal with the HAJO rear so I'm not sure if I should order 050-655 or 019-120 from Dawson. I was also pondering if the front sight is difficult to remove. I understand the pin is not used because of the bushing. Does that mean the front sight should slide right off when the bushing is removed? I am concerned it could be staked. I'll also mention I'd like to keep my current wide sight in case I change my mind so filing it down is not an option. Thanks!
  14. When I got my SP-01 two years ago I rocked the rubber grips for a while until I shot a summer match outside were perspiration was a concern. Rather than use Pro Grip or the like I ordered CZC's thin aluminum aggressive checker grips. I enjoyed them until my Accu-shadow arrived last fall with CZC's aluminum grip tape grips. I have since sold my aggressive checker grips and bought the grip tape ones to match. They are wonderful!

    PO Nine

Great looking firearm and basepads! Makes the CZ kool-aid even more tasty.
  16. I called Bevin at Grams eng about a month ago to inquire about this and he does not have a kit for 10 round mags. He stated his spring kit for the standard capacity cz mag fills the entire mag body therefore the dimple on the side of a 10 rounder makes it impossible to use his kit. I ended up buying his kit for the factory 18 round sp-01 mags I have grandfathered in my restrictive state. My 10 round mags I travel with are good as long as I keep them very clean. I use frog lube and brush them out when they hit dirt or mud. I hated reassembly with the plastic bases so I splurged on the cz custom aluminum base pads. (Not enough posts to insert link) Good luck!
