Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Shot about 500 rounds for carry optics, had no jams when i guaged the ammo. Was also using a vdi adaptor to cover up the smiley between slide and frame.
  2. Im looking to change from a gen 4 to a gen 5 for my glock 17 and 19. What sights would you recommend for the gen 5? Would they both work for the 17 and 19? Any feedback would be appreciated.
  3. Is there any difference in accuracy between a stock gen3 glock 17 vs the gen4? I read somewhere about the barrel locking lug being different, but dont have a gen 3 now to compare. On my gen 4, stock barrel with a 3.5 connector, i usually get 2 inch groups at 25 yards.
  4. Recently tried using a glock 34 gen 4 (stock glock recoil spring) for practical shooting. I noticed my gun seems to dip on some shots. Normally i can finish a match with zero misses with my glock 17 (same spring set up), but when i switched to a glock 34, i ended up with 1 miss per stage on close shots. Any opinions would be appreciated.
  5. Thanks for the input! Plan on using 147gr, since it would be purely a range gun. Might schedule a trip to the lgs to compare the two.
  6. If only i could.... Then i would be able to finally get some sleep at night. ) With the reduced weight under the barrel, splits would be slower with the 85 combat right? Or would the difference in the splits between the shadow and the 85 combat be small enough that it wouldnt make much difference?
  7. hello, i found a CZ 85 combat with a lot of freebies (comp hammer, extended firing pin, aluminum grips) at a very reasonable price. I was wondering if it would be a good choice as an ipsc production division gun with a trigger job and the appropriate springs. how would it compare with recoil management with the sp01 shadow? i would want to get a shadow, but currently, the CZ sp01 shadow in my country costs double the amount of the used CZ 85 combat. thanks for your input!
