  1. Go ahead and post them. Or I can if you'd like. Your email was sent the afternoon of the 20th. Then you post here 2 days later on the 22nd (Saturday) stating "Never could get any answer from PT for at least a week now". I was out of the office Friday and Monday but did reply to you on Tuesday. It's cool that you sourced parts else where. I have no qualms with that. But I do have a problem with you lying about my company. Tiffany
  2. So you emailed PT and left voicemails and no one got back to you?
  3. All PT parts are 100% machined from raw stock. We do not use castings, forgings or MIM parts. Bill- Our grips will fit your SV Frame. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
  4. There ya go. Even a year apart and our stuff fits. Plus there is enough material to be able to fit the grip to either of the other manufacturers frames. 1.060 is the grip. Frame is different to avoid this issue, obviously. It's been fun guys but gotta run! Have a nice day!! Tiffany
  5. We can chat about it when yours is ready : )
  6. The grip keys (for fit) are not proprietary. They are machined so that they "can be" fit to other frames on the market to help you, the consumer. If the grip was too loose it would essentially be unusable. You can always take material away... Not so easy to put it back on. The problem is that the tolerances of other manufacturers frames are very inconsistent.
  7. Double undercutting and DLC do not void the warranty as long as you don't go full retard on the undercut : )
  8. Or you could call Adam and get a PT Frame on order. I've heard they make their parts within tight tolerances so that they fit together.
  9. PT doesn't use castings or MIM. Ever.
  10. Thank you for the share! Guns and products are fully insured. So we will be reimbursed. The bad part is that both guns belong to a junior shooter who was very attached to them.
  11. I know a gal if you really want one in titanium ?
  12. Fits both STI and SVI mags
  13. We are indeed getting muddy 4-wheeling. You can send me an email twilliams@ptrinity.com or call my cell 937-270-8692
  14. Interesting. I stand corrected. Good thing I have an attorney that specializes in this stuff. It appears that the trade mark applies to "2011" physically on a firearm. Not "2011" in general. Not that we have any desire to put 2011 on one of our products or try to pass them off as an STI.
  15. They may have a TM on "model 2011" or "2011 frame" etc. but you can not TM just a year. I only know this because it was listed in the guidelines when I applied for our TM.
  16. 2011 is a year and hence can not be trade marked. When logging the transfer of a frame it is classified as a pistol. We call them long or short dust cover modular hi-cap frames. About 50% of the people that call me just ask for a frame. 25% ask for a hi-cap or modular frame. And 25% ask for a 2011 frame. Hope this helps!
