  1. What primers were you using?
  2. Take a hair dryer and warm up the frame, that should expand the metal and help release it.
  3. The easiest way I found was to remove my barrel and drop the round in, then press down on it with my thumb. You shpould be able to turn the barrel up side down and have the round fall out. Montana gold bullets have a longer shoulder and need to be seated shorter. I shoot the MG 124 HPs
  4. If your at the bottom of Power Factor 15 fps can affect accuracy and if your at the top of Power Factor decreasing OAL by 10 thousands can cause issues. Luckily my guns like mid range Power Factors, but I still sort my brass. JMO
  5. +1 on hand size, I bought a SD to dedicate to large primers, but my fingers are too large to use it for inserting the bullet compared to my 550. Now I just use it to decap and size my 45s,
  6. The best way to deal with MG is to email them. As for tracking numbers, some times the Post Office scanners can not read the bar code so nothing is updated because they will not enter it by hand.
  7. My XDM 5.25 likes MG 124 HPs. I tried a case of 147s this winter and did not have the same accuracy, but I did not fine tune the loads a lot because I liked the feel of the 124 loads.
  8. what's the "dual class"? If you shoot a lower class gun "SSP" and you declare before you start the classifier that you also want your time to be used in "ESP" , you can get classified in both at the same time after October 1st. If you have a SSP legal .45 and shoot 165 PF you could do all three at one time,
  9. PRP installed and the original laying there.
  10. I have to remember it's SSP not just ESP and that it not a internal set. So yes the bump being added to the STOCK trigger would be a mod
  11. This Drop in Trigger Kit fits all XDM pistols including the new XDM5.25". The kit contains our famous striker safety lever, to remove the long trigger pre-travel on the XDM trigger. Reduced power: trigger spring, sear spring, striker safety spring and striker spring, to lower the pull weight. Our trigger is made of tough light weight polymer that helps speed up the reset. It also has an integral over travel stop on the back of the trigger. Using this method of over travel stop removes added stress on the trigger bar that are present with any of the other over travel stop methods. This trigger is a Springfield Armory OEM part available on production XD and XDM pistols from the factory (see APPENDIX D4 21.6 Production Division Rules). When installed correctly, the kit will give you a short crisp trigger pull (about 3.5-4.5lbs) with a fast reset and shorten the total trigger pull length. Fits all XDMs.
  12. My 5.25-9 needs a shorter OAL. When you start a load for it, pull the barrel and try different oal's and see if you can tap the loaded round after you drop it in and still have it fall out when you turn it upside down.
  13. They are only selling what has been produced "In Stock", they are not taking orders.
  14. I have been using some old corn cob media with auto polish and get very shiny brass "The media has a round finish to it" I just bought some new treated corn cob media and got the same results as you. Maybe someone on here can explain why that happens. I just went back to my old media.
  15. Does it look like it has been sandblasted "Clean but no luster" ?
  16. Reloading is not complicated, but you do need to be anal. I have been acquiring reloading equipment on trades and have refused to sell a press to someone because they had no comprehension of what they were getting into. As far as your equipment try Ebay, Gunbroker, CraigsList or Armslist. Your other components try selling locally on Craigslist, you can ship them but it gets expensive.
  17. That is freeking unbelievable, ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE. Had a increase from July 2012 of $320 to $348 a 8% increase then another one from the November price of $340 to $348, little over 2% can deal with than but from $348 to $370 another 6%...total of 16% in basically 8 months when they have SOOOO much business they had to shut down their online ordering site...maybe if we all stop agreeing to being held up the price may come back down to a respectable/affordable level....I doubt it but this is getting out of hand... Can't blame them for raising prices if the morons on Gunbroker are willing to pay $260.00 plus shipping for a thousand.
  18. When I talked to them a couple of weeks ago they were not going to open the new webpage up until they caught up on inventory and you could only place a order if they had it in stock.
  19. Your missing the point of the exercise, think of the "NT" as a steel protective barrier. You only have a certain area to place your shot. If you want to see something interesting set-up up a course and have a target that is head shot only. Have everybody shoot it then add a "NT" to the same target so the head shot is the only thing available. I bet that 25% of the people that hit the head shot the first run through will miss there head shot the second time through.
