sorry double post

I have a Springer Dove Tail mount of my Shadow. I tightened and blue loctite the itty bitty set screws. The mounts works good but after about 350 rounds the dovetail came loose. Anyone have any tricks to keeping this thing tight? Red loctire? Thanks for the advise

You have the same setup. I remember seeing your video when I was looking into the dot and mount. I really don't mind the height much. I need to measure my 22/45 with 90 c-more and compare the two. I would want them close as I can because I shoot local steel challenge weekly also. I used the 19 and 18 round magazines with no problems. I don't know if I will even mess with the 140 mag bases

Anyone actually measure how much lower the Dot is when milled into the slide. My Vortex Viper is on a Springer Precision Mount. Shot my first USPSA this last week it is a good time and hope to get a little more into it.

I just ordered an Aim lightweight Bolt Carrier. I am looking into adjustable gas for my 16" gunner barrel. I am considering the Taccom Adjustable gas key. Trying to find some opinions on them. Problems or concerns with limiting the gas at the carrier over the barrel. Thanks

Looks like a cool idea. I had an Anderson Sport upper on mine. I then put a New Frontier Side charge upper on when it came available. I like the side charger alot. I shoot left and right handed. I have a Phase5 ambidextrous bolt release. The bolt release makes holding the bolt open and dropping the bolt easy. Best thing about the side charger is I don't get blowback in my face like I did with the traditional charge handle

Are you staking CGW pins? I loctited mine. I thought those pins were too hard to stake

I am kinda new to reloading. I have had great experience with Bayou bullets and N320. The Bullets are reasonably priced and I get them about 3 days after I order them. The hi tech coating and n320 are very clean

I lit off a s&b primer while seating it. I could not imagine a whole tube of those things going off. I load with ear plugs and eye protection. I learned at that point not to force a primer

I called Dawson. I had no idea they had 2 different gauges match and super match. The silver one I bought is super match is tighter than the anodized one. They sent me a return slip and I am getting the regular match one. Thanks for the help guys I will let you know how it goes

How do I tell which Shockbottle Guage I have I just ordered a silver one from Dawson.

I just got a 9mm shockbottle case gauge. I just ran 100 rounds to see how they work in the case gauge. I had probably 10 rounds that the Hundo gauge would not plunk in . Those same rounds passed My lyman gauge and my Cz barrel . What should I do to tighten up the rounds so they will gauge the Shockbottle gauge. This load is 160g Bayou 1.14 OAL I am using a Dillon 650 with Regular Lee sizing die. Mr Bullet feeder Funnel Dillon Taper crimp die. Would the Undersized EGW die help me in this case? Thanks Tim

I just throw FM and S&B into a bucket I guess in case I run out of other range brass. They seem to be the most popular oddball brass that I get as range brass.
