  1. I can get a better grip on the mag and my mag changes became quicker and more consistent BULLETS OUT
  2. I run the thick DAA grips because I have bigger hands. I wish some one out there would make better grips, with some contour not just flat. If some one would start making more of a custom grip I sure every one that owns a shadow would buy them. The companies out there making aluminum 2011 grips should jump on this.
  3. So I have the accu-shadow with the thick DDA thick grips. Also I have the Springer precision based pads on my mags. I put the gun on a scale With the mag and it is right at 44oz. I'm at max weight, is any one else running this combination and is worried about making the weight limit
  4. Looking forward to this match again this year..it was a great match last year!
  5. I'm not saying the shooter needs to devote all day to a match, but at some point more people need to step up and lend a hand. If you help or not I'm not calling any one an a-hole. When the volunteers are all burned out and quit, who is going to step up and run local matches? The shooters that don't help?
  6. They work great, never had a problem with it. Definitely speeds up loading. My wife wanted one for her press and now she wants the big bullet feeder. If all depends how much you load and how much you want to spend. But they are worth the money!
  7. In western Pennsylvania we like to use the term "Shoot and Scoot". That is what we call the people that think they payed the fee to shoot, why should they help! My wife and I was the MD for about 3 seasons. I also set up and tear down at 2 other clubs in my area. Every weekend it is the SAME people working their butts off to put on a good match. Shooters DO NOT know the time and effort that goes into setting up and running matches, then again I don't think that most of them care. Last year one of the clubs stopped the USPSA program due to lack of help. Every year at our section meetings we talk about how we can get more people to help but there is no real answer to this problem.
  8. Ghost pouches are smooth no matter how you pull the mag out and inexpensive
  9. Here is an option not sure how the prices compare to what you found so far but I know it's good quality steel Jabssteeltargets.com
  10. If you ride the thumb safety and your thumb is hitting the slide there are a couple companies out there that make a safety with a thumb shield. Look up Swenson Ambi safety this has the thumb shield, but this has to be fitted to the gun. I'm pretty sure Phoenix Trinity makes one too.
  11. I use the DAA belt because it is stifferthan the CR Speed. And i just used a tape measure to find the size of my waist and went up 2 sizes..pretty much like everyone said above. But if you are using CR Speed mag pouchs it's hard to slide them onto the DAA belt, that belt seems be a little thicker.
  12. I went bullets out all last season and kept fumbling mag changes so i switched to bullets forward this season. I'm still not sure if that's going to fix my mag changes. I have been dry firing a lot and they seem to get a lot smoother. Try it both ways and see what feels more natural.
  13. It is very hard to use. It has been almost a year and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. It took me a lot of time to figure out how to move the props around without making them disappear below the floor. There is something on you tube but there is no instruction just some one building a stage.
  14. RUDY PROJECT can do RX in a lot of their shooting glasses and in multiple color lens.
  15. I have 2 of Anderson 's books, there is alot of good dry fire drills in both books He came out with a new one that i still need to buy,
  16. I like the accelerator dill setup...very creative
  17. I like the CED small and compact Easy to use when you practice by yourself.
  18. I have a HAJO sight on my shadow, it just seem to set so high up off the slide. I'm just thinking if it would be beneficial to spend the $200 and have the LPA cut and sight put on

I like using slide glide the best
  20. I used super glue and a heat gun..it worked good And I used basic skateboard tape. Some companies make theirs more aggressive than others, if there isn't a skateboard shop near you EBay $5 a sheet. I ran the houge grips for a little and now moved on to the thick double alpha grips
  21. I'm going to try the 2 different size grips like someone posted above
  22. I just got the thick Double Alpha grip and i like them. I have big hands and i wish someone would come out with something thicker.
  23. Rudys light weight and confortable lots of lens options and warranty on lens
